I agree, it should definitely be a good one. However, I'm going with the Rattlers... This games does worry me somewhat.

Consider it done.

Hey, just between you and I, Bellville is the team that I always route for besides my Rattlers. I became a fan back in 2003 or 2004 when the Brahmas came into Brule Field and clobbered the Rattlers. I loved everything about that team... The fans all in red. It was awesome. Hopefully the Brahmas will prove me wrong. Good luck vs Yoe!!

Navasota 4- Bellville 1 All scores came by way of the 1st teams. -
2 long TD runs for the Rattlers; Passing is looking good; will only get better Defense is looking as good as expected.
-
Thus far, Navasota (1s) 3- Bellville (1s) 1 (Controlled) Navasota (2s) 0- Bellville (2s) 0 End of 1st Round

They've actually beaten Gilmer at least a couple times during the playoffs. They are very well coached that can and will beat any team in 4A on any given night.
-
You must not know much about the Argyle Eagle.

No, I am not sleeping on Silsbee or any other team for that matter. Whether Navasota was in the HISD district or not, Navasota will be Navasota, period. It is no secrete that HISD was and will probably always be a horrible district. It was a nightmare for us Rattlers fans having to live with that for 2 years. Again, Navasota will be fine. And, if they happen to get beat, it won't be the first or last time for the Rattlers to lose. Side note: There is a big difference in thinking that you are "good" versus proving year in and year out that you are "good". Then when you play the real deal and get donkey stomped, it all starts to make sense. The same thing happen to my Rattlers in 2007 after losing to Liberty Hill. Perception, perception, perception!!
-
Yes, we shall!!

2-0 vs Huffman
-
It's not like we are joining a district with Carthage, Kilgore, Henderson, etc.. teams that have proven that they are an elite program. Yes, Navasota lost their Coach... SO did Silsbee.. Yes, Navasota lost their QB, their best receiver... We get that... With a program as talented as Navasota, why do you feel as it will be "a little bit tougher this time around as far as reloading"? Again, Navasota, like WOS, has always and will always have talent. Check the history books. Your assessment is null and void.
-
It doesn't matter if a young La Vega team is anywhere close to being as good as they were last year. I'm not predicting a run at a state championship but I don't see Navasota not winning their new district.
-
Correct. Most of the same coaching staff is still in place. Goodman has been there since the beginning.
-
When you predict a power program like Navasota to come in 2nd and 3rd place, you are underestimating the team.
-
Hmm, take a look at Navasota's record over the last 7-8 years. Navasota reloads not rebuild. Navasota will be fine. The JV went 10-0 last season playing some really solid teams.. Some of the HISD teams didn't field a JV team which meant that the JV played the likes of The Woodlands, Georgetown, and a couple others.
-
LOL @ most of you underestimating the Rattlers. A run heavy team will not beat Navasota. Silsbee better play better defense than they did against Carthage, as does the Rattlers. Navasota's defense will be pretty solid. Watch and see....
-
1. Navasota 2. Huffman 3. Silsbee/Bridge City/LCM 5. Cleveland *Subject to change
-
Hmmm, Navasota should be very worried if Silsbee is going to be that good. At worst, WO-S 15-1. But, I like their chances to go 16-0.

It's official...UIL football championships returning to AT&T

AT&T may be the best facility in the world for that matter.
