Can't deny the issues on defense.  They weren't dominant by a long shot, but did what they needed to during the regular season.  Real curious to see how they look this year.

They've passed on some really good kids that play football.  Perhaps because they didn't feel they'd get the commitment because of football's offseason program.  This is somewhat understandable, but that team REALLY needs help.  They should be more flexible and try to work with the kids coming out of football. [/quote] Im wondering if Ford will hightail it outta there after SC's 1st round exit this year, i think he knows SC is in for 2 long years of beatdowns on that football field in 6A.  ;) [/quote] That's actually food for thought Buddy.  One of the few interestings things you said this summer.  I need to see Ford win with a lesser talented team.  To this point, his winning has come with a superior talent to the opposition.  He's yet to win a big game against a team where SC was out matched and required coaching to pull out a win.  I like Coach Ford a lot ...but he's still has a way to go to prove himself as an elite coach.

The team that lost to a Aledo team that had the #2 player in the country as their RB. A Manvel team that won 2 playoff games their first year in 5a.. Sticking with Manvel is quite a accomplishment.. [/quote] GT did the same in 4A last year ...sticking with them was an accomplishment as well.  The only team that did better on the board vs. GT was Angleton.  PAM let Manvel come in and have their way.  District 19 4A knows how that feels.

Isn't that what SC hangs their hat on why they got beat by GT? ;D [/quote] BH should drop down based on their numbers.  Its not fair for them to get whooped around District 19.  We can agree on that.  Regarding GT, SC has never played in a higher section unlike GT.  So you guys got whooped by a true 4A school.  We're not the only ones in 4A with similar numbers.  See schools like Connaly.
