DAYTON 41-23..... :-D who in turn ran into juggernaut Manvel the next week... 49-10.... [/quote] This was our first play off game in our young existence.  The game was closer than its final score.  Had a CLEAR TD called incomplete in the endzone and our share of turnovers.  The biggest issue was our defense.  Had no luck stopping speedy RB's.  Took some big loses to team that had legit RB's.  Willis killed us that year.  These losses were necessary in building to our year of PERFECTION.

It's this darn Vidor spell check ..only good 9 out of 10 times.  It messes up when given a tough task.

[/quote] NO WAY.  No one can deny the inherent advantage a team has during its first year dropping down.  GTown had SC significantly beat in the trenches and we still managed to do WAY better than Nederland (who actually had true lineman).  Their line dwarfed SC.  The game started and ended there.
