Interesting perspective ...the list of recruits from NS over the recent years can't be denied.  This plays to your point re: coaching.  But then look at Katy (Katy HS, not the entire district).  They have stellar coaching but seem short on D1 prospects.  I guess the answer is coaching AND talent ...but sure seems like talent wins over coaching in terms of recruiting.

Next year will be very, very interesting.  Could be the perfect storm for disaster as most of the remaining star players will move on to college AND SC could be bumped to 5A.  I'll be keeping a close eye on the talent at the JV and Freshman levels this year.

And for all the talent you speak of at SC why has Crosby had more D1 recruits the past couple of years? Our kids can play in any system, the jury is still out on y'alls. Larry McDuffie was the other receiver and went to Houston. Hogan probably does rotate in but Dakota wouldn't start over Whitley who plays the same position he does at NS. Handful? Come on man, you have one for sure in Sharp and Peterson probably wouldn't start either unless he played center because both guards and tackles NS has now will play D1.
