Where SC would have trouble is on defense. I've seen some mammoth O-lineman on those teams. That aside, SC matches up well. Northshore needs to win some 7-on-7 vs SC in the offseason before trying to beat us in d regular season. Katy owns Northshore anyway. Katy has a smooth striding running back, but that dude is SLOW. I don't see SC going 5A. If anything, Atascocita might drop down to 4A.
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!    Let me know when yall are ready to play some real football.  The fact that you think you could even line up against Katy and not get beat to the tune of 20-30pts just goes to show you how truly delusional you are. We are Texas High School Football We have 70-80+ kids on our Varsity roster and over 320+ kids in our football program.  To your 40-50 kids on varsity?  180-200 kids in the program?  You aren't even playing the same game.    We have a history of destroying Humble ISD teams.    I have seen WAY better Humble ISD teams lose to a lot less then what we currently have this year. the puppies are cute, but not anywhere near talented enough to beat The Tigers.
Watching Katy this year is like watching slow motion.  The biggest edge Katy has is DEFENSE.  I will agree your defensive play is on another level.  Your offense is some pound and grind slow motion game.  Your running back is lucky if he runs a 4.7 with the wind at his back.

If Nederland nearly beat you buy scoring 31 points ...this is d same Nederland that let a very weak Dayton hang around.  Angleton is good but not great. Just like BH, Crosby, Dayton, Nederland, and Vidor.  Good, not great.
Keep talking man. One day that mouth of yours is gonna write a check your arse can't cash.  8)
HAHA!  I'm enjoying every minute of it.
 3.
Remind me again...Who has SC beaten?
Everyone we faced thus far.  Most notibly Crosby, Barbers Hill, Dayton, and Vidor.
 4. PAM is a one n done team.
 5. I didn't see anything on Vidor's team that said next level. They looked like an over achieving HS team. Good job Montana. Hope you have a great college career. I think safety would be a good fit.
 6. Manvel hasn't played anyone other than Northshore n they lost that game BIG. Guess which powerhouse 4A team now has a load of former Northshore coaches and runs Northshore's offense?
 7. We literally knocked out one of Northshore receivers during 7on7 last Summer. LOL.

 9. Can't argue with the rushing proficiency of Vidor. Your offense must be frustrating for defenses. It was for SC. You guys ran it the best we've seen. BH does a good job, but our defense stopped their option cold.  Vidor needs a legit passing attack n your team would be REALLY dangerous.
 10. I forgot to add Dayton to that list. Vidor would run those guys off the field this year.
 11. Yep. SC had a hard time dealing w/ d sneaky option. We also scored more on Vidor than any other opponent this year.  Having said that, Vidor would still be playing if you played Crosby, BH, Nederland, and many others. You guys got one of the toughest opening opponents in 4A.
 12. BH's RB???!!!!  Really???!!!  You can't be serious. W/o the sneaky option, none of BH's RB's pose a threat.  Their offense is like running a trick play each down. It makes even marginal backs look good. Just look at Vidor.  If it were not for deception, that team isn't running on anyone.
 13. GREAT VIDEO!  LOVE IT! Vidor didn't have a lot highlights on the clip because they just didn't have many highlights all game long.  ;D. Vidor DB's got torched all night long.
 14. It sure looked like the one of the twins were running every other play. Also he has carried the ball over two times as much as any SC back. Lastly, Crosby has a jail break running style. Like a broken play run. I doubt seriously either twin could rack up yards running in a pro set offense.  That goes for all of Vidor, BH, Dayton's RB's too.  If it weren't for option, none of those backs could do anything significant.
 15. Angleton is suspect. If Nederland nearly beat you buy scoring 31 points ...this is d same Nederland that let a very weak Dayton hang around.  Angleton is good but not great. Just like BH, Crosby, Dayton, Nederland, and Vidor.  Good, not great.
 16. Montana is a running back. His arm is average at best. He has great ball handling ability, but that makes him more of a point guard than a QB. For Montana to really impress me as a RB, I'd like to see him line up in a pro-set offense n see what he can do w/o all the option razzle dazzle.
 17. This team has a lot of rushing yards considering 1) this is a pass 1st offense, and 2) the starting RB's rotate (thunder and lightening). Combined rushing yards by all 3 backs is over 1500 yards. If one of our backs had those yards, we'd be singing another song right now.
 18. Well, RB from C E King had a great year too. I think SC got the two toughest teams out the gate.  Only thing worse would have been a Dawson game in round 1 or 2.  One thing (of many) I can say about SC this year is they are a composed team.  They push their opponents to keep up and take risks. Turnovers, penalties, dropped balls and big plays will be the factor IF Georgetown has great DB's. If Gtown's DB's are less than stellar, all bets are off. SC will light them up.
 19.
SC plays the spread to prefection with one of the best HS QB I have ever seen.  If not for dropped passes, he would have completed every pass.  Throws a frozen rope with a beautiful deep ball.  Tall fast receivers.  If they only had an above average RB, they would be unstoppable!  Their run D was shaky but stout.  This game should be an awesome shootout.  Wish I was closer to CS to watch it.
SC does have an above running game, but Vidor didn't see it. SC chose to throw most of the game. SC has three good backs, all of which have over 500 yards on relatively few carries. KeeVon Aldridge is easily the most physical runner in our district.
 20. Our DB's need to have a big game. They can run w/ anybody, but need to get picks and knocked down balls. If our DB's are making most of the tackles, that spells trouble.
 21.
Found a better video on Georgetown, with more on their defense: [Hidden Content] Georgetown defense seems to be good against the run, and ok against the short pass. Their DBs seem to be a little slow, and can't seem to jump well for a high pass. They MAY have a weakness for the long pass, or a medium pass across the middle.
Which team is Gtown?  Both teams look like they're in slow motion.
 22. Good points Cougar14. I'm really not worried about Nederland though. That game has blow out written all over it. SC really hasn't seen any power runners and I'm not crazy about our defense.  They're susceptible to runs up d middle and off tackle. Our game is to score a lot n force teams to abandon their game plans.  I haven't seen many sacks from our Defense either.
 23. Nederland is sounding more and more suspect.  How did Angleton roll up 30+ points on this amazing defense?  You guys are in trouble. Doesn't sound like you're too confident in Nederland's passing game. You gotta be able to pass in order to stay with SC.
 24.

All of you make great points and I wasn't aware BH played w/ a 3rd string QB. All of this said, BH's DB's can't hang with SC's receivers.  Also BH is another one dimensional offense.  BH's running backs got stopped by SC in a big way. As for Vidor and Nederland, no games are as big as the playoffs. Vidor n Nederland seem closely matched and neither can hang with SC's offense.
Nederland's offensive is not as good as SC's, but we are a very balanced team that can score alot of points. It just takes about 4-5 mins to get down the field.
A slow scoring team just like Vidor.  If SC rolls up a few TD's this spells trouble for Nederland.

Is that a easy game.
Angleton looks like another "great team" that will feel the pain of SC's offense that can pass and score almost at will.  Angleton better have the best DB's in the region.
The DB's are not bad at all.

Ok angleton. Is that a easy game.
I just saw highlights  of the Friday Angleton game. Angleton put up 48 points against Freindswood, but Friendswood also put up 41. (possible weak defense at Angleton?) If so, then it may turn into a shootout, if SC makes it past Georgetown. (Georgetown looks like they may be evenly matched against us.)
Maybe not weak, but not as good as their used to seeing. Ned scored their 2nd highest point total of the season on Angleton and if I'm not mistaken Ned fumbled like 5 times.
EXCELLENT POINT. I must go to my BCS style analysis.  If Dayton could hang w/ Nederland and Nederland rolled up points on Angleton, it looks like lights out for Angleton.  They won't be able to hang w/ SC's offense.  This Georgetown game looks like a tough tomato.
