4.
id switch Dayton and Humble on DEM's predictions. Humble will be vastly improved over last year, but i don't think they can win the close games yet to get them a playoff spot.  I think we beat Kpark and CE king.  If Dayton is as one dimensional as they were last year, i can see Humble keeping it pretty close.  Last year Humble defense as not bad, it was our inability to sustain drives on offense that got us in a world of trouble.  Football is game of field position and keeping your legs fresh.    Humble will be very young, but Humble will be a lot better then last year.    I haven't read what Dave Campbell has said about this team yet, but i think in a year or so Humble will be back to form and in the playoffs.  With in two years i see us winning 19-4a or at the very least coming in the top 2 (a district i don't see us leaving)
Humble defense was pretty bad last year IMO.  Everyone on SC's squad scored in that game.  I think our cheerleaders had a couple TD's.  Nothing about that squad says WIN any time soon ...especially if SC hangs longer than expected in 19. If Dayton looks anything like last year, yes, Humble, New Caney, Porter, and KP all have a good chance.

 9.
I like him at RB. We have plenty of good LB's and he will almost definitely start at RB in 2014. May as well get him practicing there early whether he starts this year or not.
We have good LB's but only one with equal size ...Allen, right?
 10. Exactly!  SC took it easy on Dayton last year.  This year we won't be as nice. You can't rule out BH because of the # of starters returning from last year.  They were a good team last year and should be even better this year.  Dayton looks dangerous NEXT year when SC will be possibly moved to 5A and rebuilding.  If we stay 4A we may only score 30 points on them instead of 50.

Dayton couldn't play in their stadium last year.  How do they expect to deal with the 12th man of Bulldog fans?  If you're looking for stats, let me know the last team Dayton lost to (in the reg season) two years in a row.
2014-15 Summer Creek Bulldogs will be very interesting.  Sharp will be on to college.  Most of their top talent will be gone as well.  Its definitely looking like a rebuilding year.  If we're still in 19-4A, we might lose a game or two in route to our district title.
 14.
These changes may boost New Caney above Porter and C.E.King.Heard things are in turmoil in Panther Land.
If I didn't know better I would think Chatman paid you to post his thread.  ;D He looked good at TE last year, but didn't get a lot of balls.  Sharp tends to look deep as well.  Chatman looked great at RB during the Spring Ball game, but I'm really anxious to see him line up in a game.  He's a downhill runner and seems strong going off-tackle.

Everyone says Chatman has good hands, but I've seen him drop a couple sure TD's over the middle last year.  That needs to get cleaned up this year, or Chatman will be playing at San Jac.
Agree ...will be very anxious to see where they line him up during the scrimmage.  I just don't believe Braden is a better back than Jeffreys.  Braden was better in the slot.

Texas Football Magazine mentions Cody Young as probable QB.
A tackle or a coach isn't going to help New Carney. They're dead last in the district in talent and don't have the enrollment to make up for it. You could put Gary Joseph over there and still not get to .500. Until NC benefits from the growth in the area they'll be competing with Porter for last unless they realign to district 18.
If this is true, Barbers Hill shouldn't compete either.  Talent is important, but its not everything at the high school level.  Discipline, preparation, and execution can win you a lot of games.  Look at Katy.  They run their machine and win ...but not many D1's compared to other schools like North Shore, Manvel

I don't know even if Aaron has a big season if he'll get any bigger offers, most of the top programs already have their guy.
Agree with your picks ...but offers and commits can be soft these days.  Everybody wants to win and loyalty doesn't trump winning.  Both guys have an entire season to shine ...it may increase or decrease their stock.  I see late commits from both players.  This verbal offer/verbal commit thing is really interesting.  I believe the NCAA pushed back National Signing Day to February and it started all this verbal offer business.  If SC has the season they should, both Sharp and Allen can sing "Back Then They Didn't Want Me, Now I'm Hot They All On Me!"
 21. Agree with all above posts ...the move seems odd.  Could see him taking the HC role in a NY minute.  New Caney may have cut the big check like others have mentioned.  On the surface, it doesn't add up.  Regardless, New Caney needs help in a HUGE way, so bringing the Manvel winning tradition to New Caney sounds like a very smart move (look at what Manvel did to PAM last year!).  It paid to bring some of North Shore's State Championship coaching squad to Summer Creek.  SC is on their way to a 3rd District championship.  I'm sure New Caney would love to sniff a district title ...or even a winning season.  Pennington should be nervous.
