1.
Well it should make for another great game. Gotta get there early too I wanna see  Nederlands freshman play..hearing a lot of good things from them...maybe I can [s]steal[/s]....errrr borrow some plays..haaha
Rumor has it that all 5 starting Freshman have been moved up to JV and starting for the JV team tonight. If this is true, i am glad to see it. They have been winning every game by 30 plus points and need to play older and bigger teams to make them better.  Good move IMO if this is True.....
 2.
I think Weisbrod had 29 and English had 22 last game. We only had 6 or 8 points from the rest of the team. We just gotta get some others involved offensively. If I remember right, English had 18 of his 22 in the 2nd half. I don't think he will wait that long to get started this time.
Yes i agree..... The odds that Weisbrod and English both have those type of numbers again are very low, but mainly because the rest of the team will step up and contribute more offensively this game. I think Lormier and Rogers both will have a big game for the dogs... Dogs by 5.  ;D  Also if we get in a situation late in the game and need to foul, please foul # 3 or there big man.
Maybe you need to get your eyes checked ;)
If I do, then the other fifty people I have asked about it need to have theirs checked as well.
I agree with Nash... The lighting isn't very good but other than that, the gym is very nice.

I don't see a total of 4 points again by the other 3 seniors as they did in there first meeting.  I think those 3 boys have something to prove and will help contribute in this game. I predict Bulldogs by 5.  Go Dogs!!!!!!
I don't really think some of you realize Ozen's schedule this year and how they played against the top teams this year. They have played against at least 5-7 top ranked teams in the Greater Houston area. Ozen will do well against Nederland.
I agree, they will play well but will fall just short by 5.  ;D

 7. Congrats Nederland!  How did the Freshman game go? I heard PNG just came off a big win vs Central and playing with a lot of confidence. Anyone have a final to this one?
 8.
Question:  If any games were to be decided, I'm assuming it would be a neutral site? I think last year Central GAVE Nederland 1st place
More like scared to play Nederland. I call that a forfiet.  ;D
 9.
I think at HJ and Kountze it's $1000 per school year...if you don't live in the district. I know of a few that are in the HJ program that don't live there in the lower levels...
Wow... This is news to me. I know that Nederland doesn't allow such a thing.  If you attended Nederland is because you live in the Nederland ISD zone.

How is that being bitter? It's a brilliant way to attract better athletes don't you think? At least coach knows this. Why else would we open the gym to anyone other than Nederland tax payers? Boy, if this gets you upset just wait til tomorrow. I just about have my list narrowed for the thread question --What's up with Nederland? They almost lost to PNG because they couldn't get there shots to go down.  There is a lot of basketball left. Anything could happen! Also IMO, the BMT schools should be the top runners in the district in all three sports. Football, Basketball, Baseball.  You have 100K + to choose from with a open enrollment with a 5A school already in the area vs the rest of the district with 16k that have 1 school. I think Ozen and Central should be playing 5A. IMO, i think if you have a area with 5A numbers and a open enrollment, you should be playing 5A. Or close the open enrollment and make them go to the school in there living zone. I bet there are some 7 graders and 8th graders right now playing together from different zones in BMT debating on what school they should all go to when they get to high school. Other schools in the district don't have this luxury.
Doesn't Nederland have open enrollment?
We only have one HS within NISD, how can we have open enrollment? ???
do you know what open enrollment means...it means that a kid from any school district can pay a fee and go to that school, it does matter where they live. I'm not saying that there are any kids that are from other areas going to that school...cause I don't know...but the talent level has gotten better over there...you may can just credit that to the coach
Really? How much is this fee?  Nederland has had the talent for years, the majority of good athletes played Football and Baseball in years past.  The basketball program in years past is not what it is today!
See Abe & other Nederland supporters, such lack of respect that Central had no clue you have 4 starters from last year.
Ain't no thing! It's more exciting to have to 'earn' respect every year. I predict it will still be zero for the next 3 years!  :o  :o
Here are my beliefs: Your only as good as your last game OR, its not how you Start but how you FINISH!!! I don't give a "flying flip" what was done last year or 10 years ago. Its all about NOW!!!! Production!!!
LOL... Easy there dove!  It seems i struck a nerve. I agree that each year you have to prove yourself and each year presents it's own challenges with new kids joining and leaving the team. With that being said I still don't see Ozen winning a District Title over the next 3 years IMO...Which i could be wrong. Ozen JV team has some big boys, so you never know.
