We'll have another trophy in the case from #19 and hopefully one from Jerry-land too
Which proves my last statement.. You know nothing about district 19. When was the last time Dayton DIDN'T make the playoffs? 18 years ago I believe... Which makes them one of the longest running consecutive playoff teams in the state... -

We are 67 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is.... International Fairy Day It’s International Fairy Day! Today is a day for fairy believers young and old to celebrate the stories, magic, and history of the Fair Folk. For centuries, fairies have been an important part of Celtic culture. In all of the ancient legends, these mythological creatures are described as intelligent, mischievous, and magical. They have the ability to fly and cast spells, and they live in “TÃr na nÓg,†the land of eternal youth. Mortals don’t often see fairies because of the division between the two worlds, but sightings can occur at twilight or during Beltane, Mid-Summer’s Eve, or All Hallow’s Eve. In his 1904 play Peter Pan, J.M. Barrie wrote that when the first baby laughed, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and that was the beginning of fairies. International Fairy Day is the perfect opportunity to relive your childhood fantasies and celebrate the joy and magic of the fairy world. Read a classic fairy tale, build a fairy house, or take a stroll through the woods. You never know when you might stumble across something magical!

We are 68 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is.... Public Service Day Happy Public Service Day! In 2002, the United Nations declared the first annual Public Service Day. The purpose of this occasion is to highlight the contributions made by public servants all over the world. Today is a great day to change up your routine and volunteer your time to help a cause that is important to you. If your schedule is jam-packed today, plan to do something later in the week when you have more time. There are many causes worth fighting for in your local community, your state, your country, and the world. Whether you help out at your local food pantry, clean-up a park, or walk dogs at an animal shelter, the opportunities are endless! Volunteers are always needed in schools, nursing homes, fire stations, or churches, so be sure to get your friends and family involved too. Remember that every act of compassion and kindness, no matter how small, can make a difference!

We are 69 days 8) away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is.... Great American Backyard Campout Today is the Great American Backyard Campout! When was the last time you spent a night out under the stars? Tonight, thousands of families will set up a tent in the backyard or a local park to celebrate life in the great outdoors. The Great American Backyard Campout is sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation. It is an important part of the organization’s “Be Out There†campaign, which is dedicated to getting children outside so they can enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle. Camping out in the backyard is also a wonderful opportunity to observe and learn about the wildlife that surrounds us every day.
Yep, transferred from CE King. I believe he attended all the Spring ball practices. I'll ask about his attendance to speed and strength and 7-on-7. You make good points. I'd be really surprised if Jeffreys screwed around at SC as long as we're winning.
I know where he came from.
Are you a fan?
No.. The summer solstice is a significant time for many religions and cultures. Today, people all over the world will mark this important milestone in the year with festivals, gatherings, and rituals.

SC was 9-0 outscoring their district opponents 313-66. SC caught dayton with injuries and attitudes with very key players. SC won no doubt and was definitly the more hungry team but look at the scores throughout the year and i think without a doubt dayton just didnt show up to play.
Wasn't there a few disciplinary actions going on also??
If you wanna call it that coach.... Some very poor attitudes (with some key players) like bronco pride said. with that happening makes the team as a whole out of pocket... People can believe what they want.. Dayton was not playing up to their potential that night.. and everybody on the Dayton side knew it... But it is what it is.... SC came to win and thats what they did.... -

We are 71 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is...... National Ice Cream Soda Day It’s National Ice Cream Soda Day! Take the time to enjoy this frothy drink, comprised of a few scoops of ice cream in any carbonated beverage. It’s the perfect thing to cool you off on this June day. Ice cream sodas were invented by Robert Green in 1874 during Philadelphia's sesquicentennial celebration. Legend has it that Mr. Green added vanilla ice cream to the soda he sold after he ran out of ice (though Mr. Green claims he had dreamed up the innovation prior to the event). Intentional or not, it was a delicious way to keep the sodas cold, and they were an instant hit. Green was so proud of his creation that he even had the phrase “Originator of the Ice Cream Soda†engraved on his tombstone! These days, there are many delicious variations of the original ice cream soda, including root beer floats, Boston coolers, and purple cows. To celebrate National Ice Cream Soda Day, all you need is soda, a few scoops of ice cream, and a straw!

We are 72 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is..... Juneteenth Join this worldwide celebration that honors the end of slavery in the United States. Today, we reflect on and commemorate the freedom and independence of African Americans in America and around the world. Juneteenth was first celebrated in Texas in 1865 and has since spread across the United States and worldwide. People often wonder why Juneteenth is celebrated on the 19th of June, instead of on September 22nd, when the Emancipation Proclamation was issued by President Lincoln. The answer to this question is of great historical significance to the history of the United States: It was on June 18th that the Union Army marched into Galveston, Texas and enforced Lincoln's emancipation. Since then, celebrations in Galveston have been among the largest Juneteenth celebrations in the world!

No team deserves to even be on the same playing field as the greatest show on turf... I mean come on what are they thinking.. I guess DCTF didn't get the memo... ::)
This looks to be a fair list, but I'm surprised no other District 19 team made the top 25. [s] TGSOT[/s] SC deserves the respect of a high ranking, but still needs to prove they can beat an equally matched (or higher) team. Coach Ford has won when SC had the distinct talent advantage. He's 0-2 (kick rocks in advance Garrity) in playoff games where SC met a solid competitor. SC better focus on defense more this year. Not sure we'll be able to out score everyone. The bench just isn't as deep this year.
Now that is a NON-HOMER post... I'm impressed... :o :o ;D ;D ;D
Coach, I'm trying to turn over a new leaf ...but make no promises. We are 73 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is...... International Picnic Day It’s International Picnic Day! Today we celebrate one of the greatest ways to enjoy the summer season—an outdoor picnic with friends, family, games and activities, and delicious food. During the Victorian era, picnics were very important social occasions. They offered the rare opportunity for young men and women to spend time together in the great outdoors. They were also quite elaborate. A picnic for twenty people might feature cold salmon, lamb, veal, chicken, ham, pigeon pie, sandwiches, fruit, a selection of cheeses, and a variety of baked goods! The modern-day picnic is much less complicated. In fact, the phrase “it’s a picnic†means “it’s easy.â€
