1.
Naw ...those stands were full.  That's not an exaggeration sir.  When you come to title town this year and witness the Greatest Show on Turf on our million dollar field in the beautifully renovated Turner Stadium ....you will then see and experience SC football at its finest.
I have seen you say this way to many times... I would like to know what makes you think that Turner stadium belongs to SC? SC does NOT own Turner Stadium... This stadium is shared by multiple schools. Thus the reason for it's "million dollar" price tag. So stop trying to convince people it belongs to SC. I voted correctly.. homer at best...

They were right: vegetables are essential for living a long, healthy life, and they are also delicious! This makes Eat Your Vegetables Day a terrific reason to celebrate. Tell your dad how much he means to you today and show your appreciation with a personalized gift, a delicious meal, or a gift card! In 1910, the state of Washington declared the nation’s first Father’s Day celebration. The idea of honoring men for their domestic role was considered quite controversial for many years. It wasn’t until the Great Depression that the holiday became universally accepted. Struggling businesses began marketing the occasion as a “second Christmas” for dads, and families all over the country adopted the tradition. In 1972, Father’s Day became an official national holiday. ((( and to all the single moms who have the dad roll)))
 6. We are 76 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is.... National Lobster Day Today is National Lobster Day! Did you know that lobster was once considered peasant food? In the 1800s, lobsters were incredibly plentiful and New Englanders could simply walk down the beach and capture them during low tide. Many servants lived off of lobster during this time period. In fact, one Massachusetts community had to pass a law that limited how often you could serve lobster to your servants. It was a modest three times a week! Today, lobster is considered a luxurious delicacy all over the world. In the state of Maine alone, lobster fishing is a $1 billion industry. There are many ways to enjoy lobster, but the most popular cooking methods are boiling, baking, steaming, and grilling.
 7. We are 77 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is...  Flag Day Today is Flag Day! On this day in 1777 the Second Continental Congress passed the Flag Resolution, which designated the first official American flag. The first flag, which featured thirteen stars and thirteen stripes, has become known as the “Betsy Ross flag,” but it is uncertain whether Betsy Ross actually created the original design. Did you know that there have been twenty-seven different American flags over the course of our nation’s history? The one we use today, which features fifty stars, became our national emblem in 1960. President Woodrow Wilson designated Flag Day as an official holiday in 1916. However, the idea of an annual celebration of the flag dates back to 1885 when schoolteacher Bernard J. Cigrand held the first known Flag Day.
 8. So how do you ever plan on winning  that ring if no one deserves to be on the field with y'all? Y'all gonna beat yourselves?  :o
 9. Why is it that almost every single person from SC has a chip on their shoulder? Yall hate everybody you play.... I will be very curious to see y'all's toods when y'all move up to 5-A

SC is the hottest ticket in town. You hate our success.  Just move to Vidor, brew ur own moonshine, and marry your foxy cousin already.
So by your logic SC would have beaten a team that stomped GTown? Hmm... Guyer would have scored 60+ on SC
You misunderstood his post, ram0524. If SC had beaten GTown, SC would have been celebrating with Gatorade baths and a huge parade because they would have had won two playoff games in a row. They've never done that before, you know. Of course, SC would have lost to Angleton the next weekend.
I’m curious as to what the reason for loosing in 2014 will be when SC has an entire season in 5A! BREAKING NEWS!!!  SC HAS BEEN ROBBED AGAIN BY THE 5A BANDITS!! ;D ;D
. LOL that's was funny

The Aztecs invented peanut butter in the 14th century, but peanut butter cookies didn’t become an American favorite until the early 1900s. In 1916, George Washington Carver began promoting the peanut and its many uses. As part of the campaign, he published three peanut butter cookie recipes in a research bulletin entitled, “How to Grow the Peanut and 105 Ways of Preparing it for Human Consumption.” In 1932, the Schenectady Gazette published the first peanut butter cookie recipe that called for crisscrossed fork marks on the top. Today, a peanut butter cookie just wouldn't be quite right without this iconic decoration!

During this time period, Hawaii was the only nation that remained independent while the rest of the Polynesian islands were taken over by colonial powers. Kamehameha was nicknamed “the Napoleon of the Pacific” for this achievement. To celebrate Kamehameha Day, Hawaiians attend carnivals, floral parades, and horse races. 19. We are 81 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is.... Iced Tea Day Today is Iced Tea Day! Iced tea is an iconic summer beverage and one of the most refreshing elixirs known to man. There is something magical about the combination of brewed tea, mint leaves, and fresh lemon slices served over ice. Historians believe that people began serving cold tea sometime during the 19th century. The drink became popular when vendors started selling it at public events and the World’s Fair.  Today, people make iced tea using a variety of different flavors. You can also mix iced tea with other beverages. One of the most popular iced tea beverages is an “Arnold Palmer,” which consists of half iced tea and half lemonade. Sweetened or unsweetened, flavored or unflavored, celebrate Iced Tea Day with a nice, tall glass of your favorite iced tea!  Sorry for any delays in the post this week... but ummm We are busy catching fish at Lake Livingston all this week... Haters are gonna hate I know LOL... :)
 20. We are 82 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is...... National Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Day Today is National Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Day. Wow, that’s definitely a mouthful—of deliciousness, that is! This sweet and tangy treat was first made popular during the early 1800's, about 30 years after Benjamin Franklin introduced rhubarb, nicknamed "pieplant," to the East Coast. With strawberry season starting, what better way to celebrate this old favorite than to bake one yourself. Yum! Did you know that rhubarb is actually a vegetable? This makes strawberry rhubarb pie one of the rare (tasty) pies that combines fruits and vegetables. Any dessert that gets us to eat our veggies definitely deserves its own day. So whether you bake or buy, go grab yourself a strawberry rhubarb pie!    AND it's Donald Ducks Birthday.
 21. We are 83 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season and today is....         Belmont Stakes Today is the Belmont Stakes! The Belmont Stakes is the third race in the Triple Crown. It is both the oldest and the longest of the three events. The first running took place in 1867 at Jerome Park in Elmont, New York. The track is 1.5 miles long and has become known as the “Test of the Champion.” Another nickname for the race is “the Run for the Carnations” because the winning horse is draped in a blanket of white carnations. Only eleven horses have won all three races in the Triple Crown. The first was Sir Barton in 1919, and the most recent was Affirmed in 1978, but there have been many famous winners in between. Perhaps the most notable are War Admiral and Secretariat. To celebrate the annual running of the Belmont Stakes, grab your fancy hat and gather around the TV to witness this exciting event!

 23. getting back to MNW  beating SC.. Dayton beat MNW the very next game. SC no doubt is good now... They will dominate probably again this season. Not gonna glaze that over.. Got to give them credit for moving forward. BUT once they lose those skill players to graduation and they move up to 5A next realignment. And they don't really focus on the freshman, mainly the JV and Varsity (someone from SC's words not mine) I don't think they will look so pretty.  ;D
