A reoccurring theme I've noticed I a lot of games this year regardless of a win or loss is they get into foul trouble a lot. I know Silsbee plays aggressive but is it that much more revved up then years past?

This is the worst news I've heard in awhile. Man.. Tuff. Rip Swift man. Hard.. Especially around this time.

Texas schools wiffed on not offering him. I don't mean UT, etc. But all the smaller schools could use him.

Gettin minutes. He will be a key player for the program going forward. He is still technically a freshman because he was awarded a medical redshirt. He is playing as mostly a matchup defender.

Not Laquarious Paige? The one who plays at Indiana State. Or Brandon Joubert who played at mcneese? Lol I hope that was a brain fart.

You really not gonna name the best guard? Lol But it is solid. Not bad, not great. It is essentially 4 guards and a tall wing that will play at all times. I hoop with Quest sometimes and he's still got it!

Was Willie Jefferson playing in the game they lost to Kelly?

Surely hoops power Ozen wouldn't need them to beat a Kelly team no one with any knowledge of basketball respects?

TAPPS 4A and 5A top teams are just as good as uil 6A-5A teams.

And then the ones who just can't comply with either rules like API/Prime Prep and have to play in TCAL! Lol

There school really was impressive. Even cooler was that Julius Randle then a senior let me and 2 of my friends take a picture with him! And guess who took the picture, Mickey Mitchell who was on crutches from an ACL injury from football. Enough with the thread hijacking though. Good win Nedrland.

Heck the past 5 years lol It helps when tuition is close to 20000 and you can offer amazing facilities and a 100% college acceptance rate.

Prestonwood would be the best team in SETX by a lot.

The school is far from small. We went there my junior year for a Leadership retreat and the school is bigger than any in SETX. The cafeteria has a buffet! Lol they also let us use there stadium to practice football because we were still in playoffs. It is as nice as every stadium around here.

HJ played good. As Nash said there was a run at the end but yes Buna is good this year.

Not to mention the kids who transferred to PNG. They didn't play basketball because they were at a traditional football school. They prolly could of contributed. Plus My senior year (2014) they got that foreign exchange student who was their best player. Much weaker. Especially from my SOPHMORE year when Danuel House was in town. Even two years ago when the Nederland tournament was the weekend after because Nederland wanted to participate.

Well Fallbrooks game against PNG told alot. Fallbrooks has the players just not the togetherness. As most prep schools. They just acquire talent and hope it works. Alvin is only as good as how well Savion Flagg plays. Been that way for two years. Will be the same for the next two. LA Christian hasn't impressed me in any game I've seen them play which is a small sample size. Other than Kelly and Nederland these teams do not impress me. Especially not on the same level as 4 years ago.

Peitzch-Mccarthur had a nice gym as well. Right next to Lamar Campus as well.

When I said it was weak I think I said in a while. Which was basically meaning sense I was a freshman 2010. That year it had Galveston Ball, Silsbee, Etc... The next year I can't recall who was in it but my junior year that had Isiah Taylor and the village, HCYA, and the list goes on. My senior year the only team that didn't really belong was us, Community Christian, and even then we were a fill in. Silsbee was in the worst final day bracket play that year. So compared to recent years yes the tournament was weak. But the top teams are pretty darn good

if this is third place game wouldn't last game be 5th place?
