Another thing about the AAU coach in question. Him and two other coaches paid out of pocket for the majority of our first year as a program (2012 summer) . He had a few kids that stayed with him at the time then as well. Some that didn't even play. But some will miss that part on purpose to prove a point.

Well being that you're obviously not too bright, I won't even dignify that ignorance with a response, BUT, I will certainly enlighten you...That "small" team you speak of IN 2001, not 2003....BEAT CHRIS BOSH AND DALLAS LINCOLN TO GET TO US....

He moved in with his mom.  So no biggie.  But the Panthers have had a few transfers (move ins and just plain old transfers).  BISD, on the other hand, is pretty much play where you want so for any of them to complain is pretty laughable.  

No he moved to live with his mother...he was my next door neighbor...

What is ignored is that the kid was and is thousands of miles away from his family and was stuck in a bad situation with no school to attend.  He was taken in, clothed, fed, and enrolled in school.  Kind of sounds like a hardship situation to me.  The DC obviously agreed.  Couple of schools, consumed with trying to beat the school, brought in the wahmbulances and he has been relegated to watching.  Unfortunately for the cryers, they have posted a big ol' doughnut in the win department against the Jags through the first few contests.  But hey, no doubt your losses were a little closer than they would have been so congrats!

But he has taken other kids into his home in the past that aren't basketball players. This guys does do a lot for kids. And no one mentions that there IS another kid with Chris. And he isn't a good basketball player at all. He just needs a place to live.

HJ has a rich history and tradition of which they are justifiably proud.  Until Silsbee gets it done, they can only look on in envy.  The good news is the Tigers have the kind of talent to grab one of those elusive titles.   But they still have to get the job done.  As it sits, HJ gets to look at their 3 trophies while Silsbee dreams of getting their first.  
As for the game tomorrow, I expect it to do the rivalry proud.

Perfect? Then explain why you have Humble and Kingwood Park ranked ahead of CE King the last two weeks when King has beaten them both in the last two weeks. Also, North Shore is undefeated in district and yet you have La Porte ranked ahead of them when LP has lost two games in district to West Brook and PA Memorial. Am I the only one that finds that to be a head scratcher?

Not sure about that 15 point win last year but facts are not very interesting.. I'm sure AAW can clear that up.
Either way sounds like our trip to LCM was less eventful than the Tigers trip up North.

Hard to beat a team 3-4 straight times.

Atwood would not score 30 without the threat of Pearson getting to the basket, drawing fouls, and scoring.  Nijal FINDS those guys and gets them easy buckets...He has a "Lebron" type role on that team, if you will...Not comparing him to Lebron, but that's kind of what his role is...Score, set the table, dominate when he has to and lead.  Atwood is a good player, but I still think HE compliments what Nijal does for him and that team.

I don't think Central has much more in the tank other than what I have seen.  Nijal Pearson is a one man wrecking crew.  He GETS it done.  Atwood is a pretty decent compliment to him, and the rest of them are just ok. They ARE very tough and resilient, however, from what I have seen. Ozen has really good pieces and when they are clicking they are pretty darn tough to beat.  

Whether it be Prudhomme, Mays, or Roberts H-J will always be a Dunk-O-Meter mainstay
