If so that's his best offer to date but I only got one source saying that's the case. Very hard to get a big time FBS offer at quarterback in the state this year. Unlike last class this one is loaded, could be another like Stafford, Snead, Dalton, Ponder, and McElroy. That's 4 qbs that started an nfl game last year from one high school class in Texas.
COugar14, why are you saying that's his best offer? Are you a Crosby COUGAR or Houston COUGAR  :D
because utah and colorado are cellar dwellers in the pac 12. at houston he would actually be able to compete for conference championships and play in a good bowl game. utah is going to be lucky to play in a bowl game in the next few years. sharp does remind me of the old utah qb brian johnson from crosby who transfered and played a year at lee before going to utah and being the sugar bowl mvp after he sliced up alabama. sharp should a few more good offers before the season starts but the upper level programs in the state can pick and choose this year 'cause of the qb depth in this class. plus i think with sharp recruiters are saying he has to play in a finesse spread-style offense like he does at sc due to the fact he has average arm strength at best. i also think he's scaring some people with that awkward throwing motion, if you type in ''aaron sharp 247'' they have some pictures of him throwing and you can see what i'm saying. he should be releasing the ball way higher than he does, looks like it hurts his elbow. hard to argue with his production on the field though so he'll still end up with probably 7-10 offers. one other great thing about sharp is he doesn't turn the ball over either.
I'm not sure what is average at the college level, but I once saw Sharp chuck the ball from the 35 yard line at one end of the field into the endzone on the other side of the field in practice. And that was when he was a freshman.

Raelon Singleton already has an offer to play for the Utes. 19-4a rivals to Pac 12 teammates? *Congrats to Jordan Feuerbacher (TE) of KP, now has offers from Texas State, UTSA, Illinois, and Oregon State. *Walter twins now have dual offer to Rice University and Yale University (Ivy League does not offer athletic scholarships)
Awesome! I've been wondering when Sharp would get an offer from a BCS-AQ school, I feel he is a bit underrated by a lot of scouts. It would be a steal if the utes got both Sharp and Singleton.
 6.
I guess with all that world class speed University of Summer Creek has 19-4A teams should just forfeit.  :P ::)
I don't think SC will be THAT dominant, I think crosby and maybe KP will have a reasonable shot.

As for SC I'm not surprised they are in the top 5, but I expected the experts to knock us for 7 of our starters on defense graduating as well as 2 of our 3 best WR's. Obviously the way the districts are set up it would have to happen in either the 1st or 4th round. 4th round would be more likely than 1st because SC would have to lose to a K-Park or a Dayton in district or Ned would have to lose to a Central, PNG, or Vidor depending on who makes the playoffs and neither of those scenarios are all too likely. 4th round would have the two as district champs winning out thier first 3 rounds in the playoffs, which I think is pretty realistic. That deep playoff run last year is really paying off for sc. This year team has a shot at a national title are even possibly a superbowl.
I was looking at Dave Cambell's winter edition and they have SC at #3 behind Denton Guyer and Cedar Park.
You do know being in the top 5 of the 4A poll pre-season is a curse right? (seriously)
Not for all of the teams in the top 5, ususally 3 or 4 of them do pretty well. I mean Dawson was in the preseason top 5 last year and made it to the 3rd round. Though that isnt as good as they have done recently, 12-1 is hardly a curse.

I leave for a couple hours.. and poor mytwocents is still having to defend his comment... Can't anyone know what he means but him...And if he says his comment was meant the way he says it was meant then well that's the way it was meant. And as for AJ... I am sure Ford is very well aware of the situation he wouldn't be a very good coach if he didn't. Now.. the boy did get kicked out of athletics at King... And why wouldn't Price kick him off the team? Thats a good coach. Stewart did it in 08. Not just one but five, i believe it was.. and they were ALL starters. Dayton still went to state that year. Some coaches don't care if you are the star or not.. you can't stay with the program then you need to move on.
we don't need your long speeches, first of all mytwocents can speak for himself, and yes some coaches will kick a kid off but, you are not gonna kick your best player or any player off unless he really done something.....why would a kid transfer if he was a good kid, and knows there will be a red Flag? I'm sure his parents did their homework and realized he can be ineligible if he indeed moved because he was kicked out....the only way he can be eligible is he would have to move in the area....and the kids are saying they bought a house in Sunset Ridge, that's 2 minutes from Summer Creek
I'm sure he can... Nothing wrong with someone coming to his defense. And I guess you just aren't going to believe that he got kicked out of athletics are you? A Coach who has standards will kick them off.  He could be eligible and not live there IF King was rated unacceptable. His parents don't HAVE to buy a house there. He could have moved to a relatives in the SC school district. Don't ask for someone to find out anything. Then argue when you don't get the answer you want.
If I may weigh in here, the humble isd is very strict about kids transfering and continuing to participate in UIL activities. Not just those outside of district but those inside humble isd already as well. Generally, a student who transfers to a school in humble isd has to sit out one calendar year before participating in varsity UIL athletics unless the student and their gaurdian appeal. The circumstances around the student's transfer are really important in determining thier elegability, so if Jeffrey was in fact kicked out of King's football team it is unlikely that his appeal would be accepted unless there was a serious reason as to why he had to switch schools. I think your sources are valid its just that there has to be more to the story than what has been discussed. And for the record, King isnt acedemically unacceptable as of the TEA's latest ratings of the school.

But here it goes. Its not like summer creek is this unstoppable powerhouse. I mean they have won 1 playoff game over the last 3 years. Their underclassman were horrible. Both freshman and jv teams were below average. So i say who cares if this rb from ck goes there. Sc should have a good team this year with or without him. I hope for their fans sake they get past the second round this year becsuse if not it looks bleak for the future. 13. Jeez, before today I had such high hopes that we SC fans could get along with the vidor fans lol. Sorry mytwocents a few of us took your comments out of context, we thought you were referring to a comment that was made in a previous post about disciplinary issues and thought you were trying to compare that to the SC players. One way or another if Jeffery has disciplinary issues come fall he will not see the field regardless of what school he is at.

 20. Having a guy like Jeffrey around will certainly keep the rb's competitive. If he does play at SC next season I wouldnt be surprised if he gets the majority of the carries.
 21.

A few of you made some good points about the teams in 19-4a, so I'm going to refine my previous prediction for next season. #1: Summer Creek (believe it or not, they will be even better next year. They will likely start around 20 seniors, many of which are 3+ year varsity players including the 4 guys who were on the team as freshmen. It will be tough for the WR corp to replace Hogan and Ruffin, so expect Torrey Johnson to get the majority of Sharp's passes. 4 starters return on the O-line, which were a bit soft last year, so hopefully the offseason treats them well. Much of last years depth at LB will compete for starting spots and will be a very strong part of the defense) #2: Crosby (going to be much more competitive than most expect, should have one of the most explosive offenses in the state. They are the only team I expect to challenge SC in the regular season and could potentially upset them and might have a shot at the 4a-d2 state championship. Only question mark is defense, which is something they definately have to improve in the offseason) #3: Kingwood Park (yeah, considering how most of their impact players will return for them and how solid their coaching staff is, they should improve dramatically this offseason) #4: Barbers Hill (a bit of uncertainty here, but with thier 3 leading rushers and a few solid defensive players returning for them I like them a little more than dayton to make the playoffs) #5: Dayton (I am by no means trying to insult dayton fans here, dayton will still have a good team, it just wont be as dominant as it has been in recent years. Most programs would be lucky to say 6-4 is a down year, especially in such a talented district. With that being said, they will have a few young players that will, if not already, make a name for themselves) #6: C.E. King (I still think they will be better than everyone else expects them to be, but having a few good skill players won't get them to the post-season. Its kind of a shame they have such a good RB that they can't effectively use) #7: Porter (Its a natural reaction to laugh when someone ranks porter over humble, but in 2013 I think it makes sense. When their class of 2014 were freshmen, they dominated all other district freshmen teams. Going into the 2013 season more than half of the startering squad will be third year varsity starters from this class, as well as a few additional returning starters. Sounds like a pretty good group of athletes to me, but there is just one problem. Their coaches dont seem to know how to appropriately develop talent, and thats why this talented team will be wasted on another losing season. At least they will probably beat humble) #8: Humble (Humble has gone down hill, as much as it pains me to say that. Sure, they will return some good players in 2013, but this entire program is still in the rebuilding phase, and that includes their coaches and their overall attitude. I see good things for them in the future, but it wont be until 2014) #9: New Caney (Maybe they should just play JV for a while)
Everybody is gonna be so Suprised when y'all see our receiver crew this year, I'm not saying it will be at the beginning of the season, but keep y'all eyes open 8)
I definately agree, we will get to see what the rest of the recievers can do early in the season. We definately have depth at the position, I was just saying it will be tough to match what Hogan and Ruffin have done for this team the past 3 years.
