  1. I am telling you all, watch out for the Hill.
  2. Well that's just boring. We want a splash!
  3. Maybe I am misinformed. I could swear that what was said on here when he moved is that it was for college recruiting purposes.
  4. So wait, you're saying they DIDN'T pick his teammates and competition? I believe they did exactly that. Hence the reason for moving.
  5. They're going to enact a postseason ban and take 10 scholarships away from the Lions!
  6. Barbers Hill will be like night and day. Write it down.
  7. Brian Barbay. Period.
  8. Tyler area. Two towns, LaRue and Poynor, that make up LaPoynor ISD. Both towns are smaller than Hull!
  9. Just to clarify, I was in high school at the time. It got weird when I re read it as a grown man talking about dating a HS cheerleader! haha
  10. I once dated a girl from Poynor who, at the time, was a cheerleader at LaPoynor High. I went to a few basketball games there, and it was crazy. They definitely take that stuff seriously up there.
  11. Private schools? What are those?
  12. Well that makes it all the more interesting! haha
  13. He's back from the ashes to throw a right hook at Hardin!
  14. I appreciate that. It's hard to congratulate people that cannot be identified by the general public.
  15. Lil C?
  16. While I agree with your basic premise, I think it's a bit short sighted to say that those vocations listed represent uneducated people. Lots of those vocations represent many intelligent people that keep the world going around with their craft. I have spent some time around educators and some of them are absolute mouth breathers, administration included.
  17. You are uncharacteristically wound up about this one. Relax....it'll be ok! Lol
  18. HD has a few. Off the top of my head I remember Eric Redfearn and Juan Gamez.
  19. I just read that the petition in support of the defensive coordinator was started by the defensive coordinators wife, as well as one of the head girls coaches. What a dumpster fire.
  20. Yes, this is a disaster situation for Waldie. He may very well decide to stay in Woodville and let the mob attack the next sorry sap. The issue for Daingerfield is if Waldie turns it down, there is no way the coordinator in question will accept the job as the third choice. This might get interesting.
  21. West Sabine has several jersey numbers that should be retired. Theresa Witherspoon is definitely on top of the list, but I could name a few more. Ted Williams was a great one that deserves consideration. Any idea what Ted is up to these days?
  22. haha. Click members can spell clique however they please. It goes with the prestige of wearing the ring.
  23. This is untrue. If you hide yourself, and you are not transcendent, they will not find you. Why do you think the schools in our area have guys they call "recruiting coordinators"? Those guys beat the bushes for the kids at their schools, and the coaches come by. They have to work that hard at successful public schools to get kids looks, how much harder will you have to work at Legacy. Shoot Coach Mann an email over at Crosby and ask him how many signees they had before he got there vs how many they have now? I promise the numbers will shock you. Trust me, if this kid is as good as you say, and he goes to Lumberton, he will get looks. Lumberton does not hurt recruiting chances, Legacy hurts recruiting chances. No one wants to see film of a good QB destroying St. Mary's cathedral school of the disenfranchised boys. If the QB at Lumberton runs wild and throws for 400 yards against PNG or Nederland, people take notice. Either way, good luck to the young man. I hope he and his parents make their way back to Silsbee, which is where I hear he belongs.
  24. Click.....not to be confused with clique.
