Someone ( not me) has posted this story to theoldcoach.com, so now HD is getting statewide attention for this kind of nonsense.

The best part is that it was created anonymously, and is being promoted by an anonymous facebook page with the moniker "John Smith". This fact alone leads me to believe that no one has gone to a school board meeting to try and do things the right way. Even funnier is that each post is being liked by a former HD head coach from the 1980's, who lots of people are trying to get to come back. It's truly pathetic.

You lost me at Tony Brown. I know both of his parents and had the opportunity to play on a team his dad coached. That kid knows right from wrong and is probably more versed than the "kid from Bridge City". He is just a piss poor decision maker.

Will they hire Brady Hanson as his OC? hahaha There was an operator at Enterprise West that was a state championship QB for some Dallas area school who coached at Dayton for a while before going to work for EPCO. Maybe they can bring him back too. Seriously though, I am sure this is a good hire, it is just a bit strange.

Quite possibly one of the worst jobs in the state at this point. It's a shame too, this was once a proud program not too long ago.

I'll tell you this.....If my boys were close to HS age, and were trying to excel at football on the high school level, I would do everything I could to bid through my union to get back to our Mont Belvieu site, for their sake. That seems extreme, but it's easily done. This is the mentality I am assuming many others are taking this evening.

Bro, there is a brand new apartment complex right in the heart of town. There are also several others throughout the district. don't forget the mobile home parks in Old River, and all of the affordable housing in Lanai......this could get serious.

You watch, all athletes from Sterling and Lee will be heading to BH. Depending on the GCM hire, they could be heading that way also. Not to mention Anahuac and...oh yeah...DAYTON!!!! Dayton better hire wisely, or else.

Except for Gage was a has been when he showed up at BH. Westerburg just barely lost a 57 game winning streak. This isn't nearly comparable to the Gage hire. Crosby better beware, and if I know their coaches like I think I know their coaches....they are aware and they will be ready.

I give it 4 months before a blue chip QB moves into BH. Somebody's daddy is getting hired by Enterprise as we speak!
