Anyine have any info on this? Will it be at Cowboys stadium again? What are the dates? When will tickets be available? I'm tryingo put in vacation requests at work. I will finally be able to make it this year. Super excited.

[/quote] This was without a doubt a very grown up decision to be made, especially by an 18 year old kid.  I think that the parents should be very proud and that they did a good job from what I can see.  Parents should always be proud of their kids, especially when it shows a reflection of the kids raising. Having said that...  I also think that this is an absolute travesty.  I think that a big problem that I see in this part of the state is the fact that talented kids end up ''staying home''.  For whatever reason.  There is one window in a person's life when they will get this kind of opportunity.  Pass that up... and regret is what you'll get for the rest of your life. I played 4 years of college ball and it was the greatest experience of my life to date (other than my children and my wife).  I can't even imagine what I would've felt like now had I not gone through that.  Yeah I had no life, had 3 hour practices 5 and 6 days a week, and went through absolute hell... but I have 2 championship rings, lifetime friends, and an experience that you cant buy to show for it. 4 years out of a lifetime is all you get.  Those refineries will be there whether you are 18 or 28. This is really ridiculous.  Every team has coaches present.  Lots of schools don't have the demographic issues that Central has.  Lots of their kids can't afford to make those trips to Houston, that is assuming that they have parents that are involved enough to take them.  So for Toby and his staff to be willing to drive them, and buy them meals, in my opinion, does not make them violators, it makes them heroes.  These KIDS need positive role models in their lives and if the Central and Ozen coaching staffs are starting off their tenures by doing that, then more power to them.  Mr. Jordan would be best served to stick to investigating school board members and things like that and leave the molding of young men to the ones who are invested in that.  Just a side note, if I was on that central staff, I would be very very upset about Mr. Jordan's wild assesment that he might have seen Central football players escorting "scantily clad" women to their cars at 7:00 am.  He better be sure he saw what he thinks he saw before slinging that accusation.  The pictures I saw are not enough evidence for that accusation.  This whole thing makes me very sad for those young men and these programs, and causes Jerry Jordan to lose the little credibility he had.  I know he is here reading this.  If this is the type of attention you were looking for Mr. Jordan, you've got it.

Verbal committments are about as good as the air used to speak them.  If Baylor wants him, they'll come after him, committment or not.

Seems like a step up anyway.  Might be looking at the next Colin Klein if he goes to KState with the way that Snyder runs his offense.  Utah is kind of off the radar.
