Great defensive mind. He is d-coordinator at Galveston.
Things aren't quite that simple anymore.  I have no idea what Coach Hill taught, but they have to find a coach that can teach the same field.  Unless other people are leaving and those classes can be used.
I could be wrong, but I think he taught some kind of upper level science.  If true, that there is a problem! haha
I haven't heard anything official about Coach Hill leaving.  I'm guessing this is still classified as a rumor!
 3. Coach Finney has his hands wrapped tight around the defense.  Don't worry your little head.
 4. As long as we are not looking for a HC or a OC we will be fine.  8)

 6. Everybody spell it with me......T-R-O-L-L!!!  HAHA.  Can August get here any sooner?
 7. I was wondering about that too.  Ya know, they do meet in the toilet bowl each year!  Maybe that is what they mean.  ;) 8)
I agree because there isn't much to talk about.  Now on the Basketball Forum....that's a different story.  HJ is relevent in basketball.  It's all about tradition and HJ has it in B-Ball.  I understand the parents of football players at HJ wanting to turn things around but it's going to be tough.  They just don't have the athletes to play with WOS and Silsbee.  School is intended to be for education.  If Football is that important to a parent then move to a district that has winning tradition in football.
We'll see...
This guy will fade just like the Liberty fans did last year.  Liberty was on here talking state championship until week 2, they haven't been heard from since.
 9.
Congrats Coach Dubois.... We are happy to have you! For all you haters out there, Hopefully the "Wing T" will help our no-talent kids win a couple of games... You guys never disappoint, something good finally happens with our progam, and you still "down" our kids... You know, I used to think it was fun to get on here and talk a little trash and you could find good information about other programs, but its just a bunch of senseless crap... You know, a couple of weeks ago, someone told me he felt sorry for my kids because they had a "delusional and inmature father". He didnt even get a warning from you moderators, but I get on here and take up for the kids in this community and get banned! Someone starts a thread about our new coach and the first thing that gets talked about is how the "Wing T" is good for programs with no talent.... So basically what you guys are saying is no matter how good we do now, or over the next years, its because we are running an offense that is perfect for a no-talent, struggling program... Really.....
You need to get over yourself buddy.  I mentioned that the shot t will help overcome lack of athletes because that is exactly what it did for us at HD.  That doesn't mean that we don't have any athletes at all!  If you think I meant that, ride out to HD for a practice in August and I will show you 5-6 kids that would take the spots of 5-6 that you guys are starting at HJ.  What I meant was that when we, HD, got on the field with Alto in mid November, (yes Bedelmon, there is football played in mid November.  I know y'all don't know that at HJ) the slot T leveled the playing field.  Watching Alto warm up, it was obvious that HD was at a disadvantage.  The slot T and heart dang near had us winning that game.  That is why I was so excited when I heard that Coach Huckaby was coming to HD.  I'm not sure what Coach Finney traditionally runs, but I knew what Coach Huckaby was going to run.  I knew it would spell success for us, and it did.  You are allowed to be excited about the same thing, that is if you aren't so ignorant as to take it as an insult.
 10. The slot T can do lots to breathe life into a dying program.  Especially if you don't have many explosive athletes.  Case in point, HD. Good luck HJ.  Bedelmon is going to need it.
 11. Yeah, the 1999 season was my junior year.  Played across from him the entire game.  If you guys weren't in 2A, then you were on the schedule, but I'd swear y'all were in 2A.
 12. I played against Eric Alexander in HS.  He was a beast.  He was practically the only thing that SFA had the year they were in the district with HD.

I repeat BACK AWAY! I am not afraid to get HDBobcat55 and HDbobcat9 and come to Vidor to find you! Man, now my indigestion is flaring up!
I was right  ;D ;D ;D
Haha.  It's serious business around here.  HD has been floundering around for several years, we are super excited about our staff and the potential they have to resurrect our program.  I saw rumors on other boards that Maud was making calls to Coach Finney!  I sent a swat team to Maud and eliminated that threat.  Imagine if HJ had gone after Babin.  You would've freaked too.  haha... 8)
 14.
Could be, the only one I know of was Justin Simmons football in 99 got a partial to Navy, I can't remember the boys name in basketball (97?) but he was asst coach at Lamar a yr or so, Jason Troup got a JUCO schollarship in 98, you have some names?? I was simply pointing out the sport with the most going to the next level yearly was at the BOTTOM of who gets the $$ I think a dozen would be a stretch tho...unless your speaking of all sports combined, but baseball itself has had a dozen or so going to the next level with 6-7 going into pro-ball. You would have to agree 'several' in the history of the school is somewhat lacking if you look at how much $$ is spent on these 2 sports. Baseball don't even have a field unless you want to call the old, unmaintained, no lites cow pasture a baseball field
Still can't figure out why you are complaining about having full flavored beer at HJ baseball games! If you want to drink that watered down brew, take your sissy butt to Silsbee! In Sour Lake, it's full flavor brew, or no brew at all!!  8)

Hope I got all my I's dotted n T's crossed, I didn't use any verbs or adjatives out of place, ya know adverbs and stuff like that. I didn't know it counted off
Seems I've touched a nerve. An amazing football mind.
Sutherland already does a great job with the basketball program.  No need to Joubert to go there.  .....oh, you meant hire Joubert at a football coach?  Surely you jest!?
wonder if Kountze would ever give him a chance at that position also if available again..........
He obviously prefers to coach  bball, otherwise he'd have had a football job by now.  Kountze probably should've hired him when they hired Lance Dale.  I heard he was legitimately interested back then, but showed no interest when they hired Franklin.  Who knows, but I would doubt that he'd take on that challenge seeing as he is one of the young guns in this state in the BBall arena.

Brother Mical,  I bet Former Fan will be wearing an HJ hat this time next year telling all the moderators from silsbee that they need a new coach or they will never win against the likes of WOS or HJ... That dude is on crack!!!
This guy is a troll if I've ever seen one.

 22. Honestly, Hubbard is he only name on that list that makes me turn my head.
 23. While this thread is entertaining, I also find it sad. Husband and wife making fools of themselves in public forum, then encouraging their son to read it "to make him play harder". Other kids read it too, and they probably laugh at your son.
