I predict Baytown Sterling to finish 3rd

I remember that game. Silsbee was playing Kirbyville that year. This was back in 2007 when harp, ahmad and company we seniors. That alley-oop have Silsbee a triple digit game. THey scored exactly thier 100 point after that alley oop.

I never liked that idea because, all it really doing it trying to make yourself look good. I know this there tournament and all. But lets be realistic all the good team that should place high in this tournament are playing each other real early like the first and second round.

It could've been that they couldn't find any other tournament to play in.

That exactly what I was thinking. Central is too good of a basketball team to be playing in a mediocre basketball tournament. All I can say is that they must not really care about getting ready for district and playoff (if they still will make it). They have a good 4A school and should be playing in the Higher classification tournament or at least a real good small school tournament for example maybe East Chamber. They will not be benefiting from this tourney even if they win every single games that they are schedule to play.

I take Silsbee win this tourney.

Yes you are right AAW. I was looking at the schedule and I couldn't really believe that some top school in the tourney are playing really early in the tourrney. For example if Silsbee win and the defending tourney champ win they have to play in the second round. If Nederland and CE King win in the first round they will have to play each other. From what I know from those few teams they could very well play for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place

I heard got good team but don't know all the team in it. I know Silsbee is playing Dayton and Cleveland is playing Baytown Sterling in the first round

Silsbee hasn't played Cleveland since 2007. It was the first round of the playoff that year.

How good is HD...what are there record and who have they played?

Actually Lazeek, whoever is the runner up to our district, will face Navasota in the second round, the area round. Of course, if our runner up wins their first round game. So if HJ finish as runner up they will have to play Navasota for the third straight year in the playoff. And Navasota have to win thier district too.

If cleveland as good as you say and that young. What type of team are they? Do they have height or what. Hudson are just really a good team with some experience. HJ seen them play once this year but they have gotten better since the Central game I hear. So I can see LH, Silsbee in the regional but HJ still have work and Cleveland is young and don't know too much about them.

I believe it is because of the level of how many coaches recruits players now days. You could take a small school coach and he'll go and search for athletes. As he recruits many athletes he can competes at the level of higher classifications. A 2A school has some new players this year and dominated all the small school teams in the area and they can hold their own with some 4A and 5A schools. They have more athletes than they started out with from last season. And that what makes them a whole lot better because of recruitment and it keep the smaller schools competing with bigger schools.

They don't wear shoulder pads or anything it basically what you would say. On offense the QB work on his passing skills with the recievers, running back and center. On defense the secondary and linebacker are out there. And they work on thier passing defense basically.

Silsbee plays great quality team because a lot of team knows they can compete against a good small school. School thats intersested in playing good small school but they would be willing to play a playoff conteder small school too. Lets say Silsbee plays Westbrook, Ozen, Central, Nederland and some more bigger competitions. The reason those big school considered playing teams like Silsbee is because they know that they can compete that the high level than where they at.

He was not a big factor down low on the offensive set. He was great at breaking the press and driving to the basket. You are talking about #23 right?

Like they have done every year. They will play the team out of district 22-3A. The district champ of district 21 will play the third place winner of district 22. The 2nd place winner will play each other in both district and the district champ of district 22 will play the the third place winner of district 21.

I know a kid that on that squad (LH). That is all thier players that they have been using all year long. #23 and #10 are brothers. And yes #10 is a sophomore and #23 is a senior. They play good together due to not being a football school they practice basketball year around and that what makes them a good team.
