I'm glad that this was a good game. All HJ will do is learn from their mistake and hopefully play better. Like I have said in a previous thread that LH were pretty decent and I wasn't picking them to win just because I'm from Silsbee. I picked them because I believe that they were playing better this season. They proved that they can handle playing a good team like HJ. Yes, I said it "Good team like HJ". Hopefully HJ just keep playing ball like they know how and be ready for Silsbee because you know they gonna come at yall hard.

I don't want everyone thinking I'm dogging O-Field but lets be realistic have they played anyone worthy enough to have a record that they have. They are a decent 3A school that will fight for the last playoff spot with WO-S. But I just don't think they have being trying to play tough competition so that they can better themselves and learn from their mistake.

Silsbee just proved again that they're a force to be reckon with. They seem to have came in the bulldog gym and just dominated throughout the 4 quarter.

I wouldn't really say that. But you have to say that the bigger the school is the more talent they have. But in some exception I could say that Silsbee has been playing like they were the big school in this area. In 3A there are some teams that could beat a top 10 team in 5A. I believe it really have to do with the classification of every school and how many talent they have.

That my boy Byars with them 4 3's. I see he finish with probably 7 or more 3's. What are the stats anyone know.

As far as Silsbee graduating they have 7 players on varsity that senior and 5 of them are guards and two are post. There guard deph will be a little low after this year but they have several who can step up though next year.

Lets not forget that silsbee put up 99 on Jasper court last year. So I predict the same outcome from last year maybe even a larger margin. Since Spike can't play that why I say this.

Why would Ozen consider Travis...not saying he don't qualify but what make yall think Travis would leave silsbee though.

I would pull for HJ but I have ties to some people in Lufkin Hudson. Plus I just think there the better team at the moment.

Lufkin Hudson has a kid Davis that 6'5 the kids has been a starter since he was a freshman (now a senior). I haven't seen them play this year but I know they have a good team they played in the Bagg tournament and lost in the championship to the same team SIlsbee lost too Sanger. HJ does have homecourt but the way I hear LH plays and what I know of HJ I think LH take this game.

imma, it like you reading my mind. These days people can't afford to be driving to all away games so having half away and half home seem more balance and fair to the Silsbee fan.

Travis can make a tough schedule but it very poor of him to make two month of the season away game. Come on man you can do better than that.

And lets not forget Silsbee played at Central and HJ played them on neutral court

I agree...I want to see them play before I can put them anywhere close to HJ and Silsbee

What is your prediction?

I say it like this Jasper have two pure shooters in Bailey and Spike.They will score 2/3 of the team point because with Silsbee defense no one else has a chance to score on them Tigers. Hopefully Silsbee doesn't get over confident. But this will be a good battle between the two especially since they are rivals.
