If Spike is recover by this time I will say this will be a competitive game but Silsbee will win by 15+.

Silsbee placed 5th in the Bagg Insurance Tournament. They beat Fort Worth All Saint 72-52 to secured that 5th place. Kountze play Gatesville again for the 3rd place.

I'm not going to make any excuses but like I said the officials are really strict on calls in this area and we just had a bad break. We will bounce back from this lost. Sanger had a kid about 6'4 who was playing point guard and shooting three's on us. But all those foul calls cost us the game

Silsbee lost agaisnt Sanger 54-46 we will play the winner of Kountze vs Lufkin Hudson/FW Christian winner.

Tigers will be playing at 3 I will try to keep updates. If they win they play again at 9.

I was one of the few fans at the SIlsbee vs. Dallas Shelton game and I tell you this the officials in the part of the region are really strict on calls. With SIlsbee being a full court press team they had numerous calls on them. D.C Stallworth did put up 22 points in the paint for our tigers. Other that scored were Nick with 8, Shannon with 11, Prentice 4, Brady 10, and more but can't name them all. Silsbee plays Sanger in the next round. Sanger defeated Southwest Christian in the first round.

I will be more than happy to keep updated on this weekend tournament. I will be leaving in the morning. I keep updated on Silsbee, Kountze and Lufkin Hudson.

I concur, sir. I think you are wrong I really think WO-S will compete with O-Field for 3rd place and win it. BC are doing well at the moment but once district comes they wont be as good to me. 1. Silsbee-10-0 2. HJ-8-2 3. WO-S 5-5 4. O-Field 5-5 5. BC 1-9 6. HF 1-9 WO-S will win the playoff battle with O-Field

how is Lufkin Hudson doing this year? who have they played? I have no clue whatsoever on them. Go to eastexsports.com/forum and you should be able to get some info on them on that website.

Silsbee has just good of a chance as every other team in this tournament but I will say this though compared to looking all the other teams in this bracket stats and who they play I can predict I Silsbee has a good chance to win. Kountze sorry but without Roman Walker you all will struggle especially on the offensive end. Lufkin Hudson did beat Silsbee by 10 last year but this is a whole 'nother year and with some different players.

I do believe HJ has potential but in these early games they have not shown what I know that they can do. Having the big three can help them in the long run but it takes more than that when it comes down to the final min. HJ will dominate everyone in district except (Silsbee, unless they have an off night). The Silsbee-HJ showdown will be a good one but I still think Silsbee will be too much for them though. As long as HJ does what they know that they're capable of doing then I don't see them losing too many more games this year except to my tigers ;D ;D

Everyone just keep doubting SIlsbee and see what happen at the end.

The 6'6 post is a good one. He will dominate once he get elgible. What do u mean by HJ and WOS will get 20 plus?

I did not know we played without our big man Avory Thomas last night. I knew that he did not play in the Big Sandy tourney but Coach Brooks told me at the tourney that Avory would be back this week. He did say that he would play in the Ft. Worth tourney. It was an impressive win and even more so without our big guy. So is Avory going to play in the Bagg Tourney.............. When I talked to Coach Brooks last Saturday at the Big Sandy tournament, he said that Avory would be back this week and would play in the Bagg tourney. He said the injury is minor and they just wanted him to rest it. They didn't need him in Big Sandy. Evidently they didn't need him last night. With that said, Avory is a vitale part of our team. He will just make us that much better when he gets back. You are so right, he is a vitale of our team. He does good getting rebound, blocking etc. Our other big man Josh Skinner has been getting into rhythm the last few games. Give him time and we will be one of the best teams around.

I can guarantee you a win on neutral court against Ozen. Silsbee has really step it up this year. They play played Central and the Big Sandy tourney with out thier big man Avory Thomas and still dominated

Gulley is not really overrated but it take more than one player to win a win. He a good players but he need 4 others players to dish out to so that he can't have all his opponents on him.

HJ are overrated...they will still go to the playoff but only two or three rounds deep. They just not proving anything to at all!!!

Silsbee has proven to be force to be reckon with. They came and beat the mighty bad Central on thier homecourt by 21 POINT. Come on now. And Soulja losing to a 3A school isn't a bad thing especially if you ranked #7. Immabeaking Silsbee does have pure shooters out of Brady and Nick but they also have other players to count on too out of Shannon, Prentice, Bobby, Keilon, DC and the rest of the squad. Silsbee just overall talented at all position. They can shoot anywhere on the court, they play full court defense, they rebound well but still could be better, they have speed and quickness, and they have size.
