Silsbee vs. Jasper and Hardin Jefferson vs. Lufkin Hudson For the Region 3 Semi-Final. It feature two teams from district 18 and 21. Jasper a former 21 member in that district will be facing their rival Silsbee and trying to avenge their lost from them earlier this year. Jasper has been on the roll being district champ with Lufkin Hudson. Having to be the underdog in all games in the playoff and making it to the regional tournament is a great effort on their part because no one was expecting it. Silsbee on the under hand isn't new to the regional tournament. They been there 3 times in the last 4 years. They beat Jasper (95-41) the first time around but this game will be much closer due to both teams improving every games since they last met. They are district champ too Hardin Jefferson will be avenging their lost to Lufkin Hudson from earlier in the season. HJ are co-champ with Silsbee and isn't new to the regional tournament either. They been their the last two year and the year before they won state. Lufkin Hudson beat HJ by 5 at HJ earlier this year and was co-district champ with Jasper. Lufkin lost in the first round last year and make up for that this year. Two district featuring Co-District from both district! They are playing for more than a playoff game they are playing to respect from their district. It can't get no better than this
