coaches are hired as educators not just as coaches. there main job is not to coach the football team, the basketball team, or the baseball team. extracurriculars are not a right they are a privilege, as is the ability to coach them. i am a huge supporter of baseball and athletics in general, for whatever reasons coach bryant may not have been doing an adequate job in the classroom, who knows.

landry applied for the freshman job there a few years back in lew of something like this happening, and was not hired. i dont know the situation very well at BC but that much i do know.

the outcome was that dayton played a good game. no one has said dayton didnt play well. all the post have been encouraging towards the bears. not everyone is out to get the dayton broncos. as a matter of fact, congratulations to them on im sure what was a well played game on their part. people expect a lot from lcm so there will be posts made about them. good luck dayton on the rest of the year. bears keep your head up, take it one game at a time and good things will happen.

a little advise to you coach griff....quit putting your boys in 3a tournys and beating up on small schools just to get your confidence up and maybe they would be able to play good ball when they get to the 4A district games.....food for thought.....and either way LC-M has no chance to beat PN-G even on their best day a skills...heres a little advice...the brenham tournament sorry no 3a schools there, the new caney tourney there were 1 maybe 2, the lcm tourney only 2...how is that playing small schools to get their confidence up...keep posting in the basketball section and leave the baseball to people who know what the hell they are talking about...griff has built one of the best programs around and you are knocking it because you wont get off the reservations****si let you figure that one out

i heard that central just walked off the field after the fourth. i know griff wasnt trying to run up the score on anyone, he has more class than that. but leaving the field that is terrible.

im glad you think that 40water that must mean your juco career went really well. considering we finished third in the country two straight years. id whether do that than play at some DI that doesnt do anything. i mean you could win and feel pround or just brag that you played at so and so. but didnt do jack. i guess your priorities arent straight. let me know when they are.

WB fans think they are better because they are 5A. Wasnt to long ago they were the whipping boys of that district. Just because you have more players to choose from doesnt make you better than other teams. I must say though they are building a very strong program over there. If only they were allowed to raise more money to get the quality facilities they deserve. I applaud coach walton for continuing to build a fine program.
