  1. If Toby is the guy, I think that is an excellent choice for Central. They are getting a coach with energy, X's & O's knowledge, and a players coach. Do your thing Toby, the Jaguars are back!!!!!
  2. It has been longer than 7 days anyone have any news or heard anything???
  3. I agree that a player wants a coach that they can identify with and play for, but  high school football is not college ball, you are not recruiting athletes with a certain set of skill level (magnet program = recruiting lol) to fit your system but their potential has already been identified so all u have to do is refine there skills and build on their knowledge of the game. Unlike high school football you are taking a player an developing skills and molding raw potential, so a kid is polished to a degree by the time he gets to college. As for having contacts to college coaches if you have been an OC / DC / or HC you have extensive contacts in college. College coaches jobs is to recruit year round and frequent schools in there recruiting area, so just because the coach didn't play at Texas or NFL Europe does not mean they do not have college recruiters on speed dial.
  4. BATMAN, I have no inside info, that is why I put "IF". I just think that he will bring energy and some good coaches with him that will help Central get back to  where they need to be.
  5. Foreman will do a great job at Central, if he has the opportunity & support to do the job right. Beaumont area will have to watch out for Central in the coming years with him at the helm.
  6. Also what about another WO - Stark Asst. Toby Foreman who has been passed up for a # of jobs in the area. He would do a great job if given the opportunity.
  7. What about another WO-Stark Assisstant Pat Matthews. Would he be a good fit? He was in the finals for the Central and Ozen job 4 years ago. He's won a State title at Lamar Consolidated and helped Nimitz return to playoff form. ?????
  8. What is the name of the out of town coach??
  9. If the hiring process was done a year ago why no names?? Are there no up & coming coaches in the Houston area to bring in?
