Preparing to Live in Perilous Times in America

2 Peter 3 New King James Version (NKJV) God’s Promise Is Not Slack 3 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us,[a] the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.†5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us,[b] not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The Day of the Lord 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night....[Hidden Content] -

Preparing to Live in Perilous Times in America by Don Koenig I have indicated that this is the generation that will likely see Bible prophecy fulfilled. I been asked what we should be doing as Christians to prepare for the time of trouble ahead. There is both spiritual preparation and physical preparation that we need to do and sometimes they will overlap but I will try to separate them out the best I can. Spiritual preparation for these last days Get serious about your relationship with Jesus Christ. In other words, make Him the number one priority in your life. Obviously, if Jesus is the number one priority, you will communicate with Him daily and read the words Jesus gave to you in the Bible for your instruction and edification. Especially pay attention to the New Testament which is the instructions for the New Covenant Assembly born of the Spirit. Also spend a good deal of time in the Psalms and Proverbs because they give valuable keys for good living and fellowship with the Lord. Walk by the Spirit and not by sight. God will make it clear to you what He wants you to do but you must step out in faith and actually start doing it. If you do so, He will guide your paths. Pray for wisdom to understand your calling in these last days and then do it with all the strength with the spiritual gifts that God will give you to complete His good work in you. Be open to correction from sincere Christians because we all get off track now and then. Let no one judge your motives if they truly came from a sincere desire to please the Lord and out of love for others. Be separate from the world. Do not be enslaved to the many enticements and distractions that are in the world. That probably means changing some habits that are impacting your relationship with God even though these things might seem quite normal to those in the world. You may need to get rid of material things and worldly influences that are hindering you. Find spiritual substitutes, for example, fill your mind with Christian teachings, music, meditation on the word and with thinking on what God would have you to do with your talents. Times of trouble, persecution and testing will come to all Christians; some will be very subtle and some will be very obvious. You will not like them when they come but each will help build your faith and your character if you remain steadfast by trusting in God. Attend a Bible believing church regularly. As things grow worse in this world this might mean that you will meet much more often than you do now, possibly in your own homes. In some places in the world where there is much persecution Christians meet almost daily. Fellowship with other Christians. The Body of Christ has many different functions with different gifts and purposes. The parts were designed to work together for the common good. If you do not have many Christian friends you probably need to find a home fellowship or you need to attend small group functions in your local church. Physical Preparation Don't expect that the Rapture will occur before any time of trouble in the West or in America. There could be great calamities in the nations before that event, as there were many times on earth in history. Many Christians are going through tribulation right now and there is no reason to think that Christians in the West will escape tribulations while their nations are rejecting God and living in evil. Those who even try to change their nation may be hated and persecuted just for telling them the truth. Take wise advice that your government gives you for your physical well being. If you think that shows lack of faith in God you are wrong. Governments are used by God as His servants on the earth. The US Government as well as some other governments are telling you to have at least three months of reserve food on hand. So be wise and start acquiring it. Have twice that amount for every member of your family. You do not need MRI's or bulk dried food. packaged and canned non perishable foods found on the shelves on your local supermarket will last for years, are cheaper, taste better and you can continually use the older stock and replace it. I recommend a year's supply of food. If a deadly flu pandemic or an EMP attack were to strike in early fall you might need to get through to the harvest of the next growing season. In these days of just-in-time inventory, any major disruption will cause food shortages. You don't want to put yourself and your family in the situation where you will have to depend on the military for your survival. Even your ancestors knew enough to store up for the lean times. Joseph did in Egypt. Early American Farmers canned several years of food in case of a lean year. Today's modern American Christians think they are unique in this world and will never see troubles like Christians in the rest of the world. They are uniquely wrong. Don't forget you also need a source of water and a way to purify it. Five drops of laundry bleach per gallon will do the job in a few hours. There are many other ways to purify water as well. Home school your children or send them to a private Christian school. You might think that you cannot afford to do that but you really cannot afford to expose your children to the blatant anti Christian amoral brainwashing that goes on in public schools. Better to go without some things than to find out your child has become brainwashed, perverted and corrupted. I assure you, most who go through the public school system today will not come out of it with Christian beliefs. You might think you will need to save money or gold for the end days. I don't think that is necessary. You should get out of debt and stay out of debt and try to have enough savings to keep you going for six months. If a complete collapse of the system happens, whatever money you have might become worthless and commodities like gold will become illegal and be confiscated. The best physical preparation anyone can make for these last days or any days is to have an indispensable skill that others need. If you have a usable indispensable skill, your family will never lack what you need to survive. Of course, not everyone can acquire such skills but if you have the opportunity to learn one, do so. I do not consider many service and clerical office jobs to be indispensable skills in a time of economic trouble. You might consider a small cache of items that you can barter with should money becomes worthless. Basically that could be anything that people need to live on. Again, don't get carried away with this. If you have too much stuff on hand you are a target for someone to come and take it away. If a deadly flu pandemic hits - like the bird flu - you are going to have to stay out of public places. Air borne flu will not spread above 86 degrees F. or when relative humidity is above 80 percent. Keep that in mind. You may have to keep yourself and your family in one of those two environments until the deadly pandemic runs its course. Be aware that flu spreads rapidly in cold dry climates. If you fly in an airplane during a pandemic you have put yourself in an ideal environment to catch it. If you pile into a cold car with other people you most certainly will catch it if one of the others in the car is carrying it. If deadly flu or germ warfare happens you are really going to have to think things through before you do them. Do what the government tells you in health related matters. The government will have safety equipment for emergency personnel but they will not have the safety equipment for general population's. They may have a vaccine or anti virals that you might have to go somewhere to get. You are going to have to use your own judgment on the information that the government gives you. Certainly have a multi-band radio that runs on batteries. If possible do not choose to live in big cites. If there is any civil breakdown things will get rather nasty in the cities at least until troops come in. Even then you will be under martial law and will not be allowed to travel freely. If you are in a city you need to network with people in your own neighborhood that are trustworthy Christians. If you are totally dependent on electric you need to get a generator and have fuel on hand. If you live in a cold climate you might not have heat for an entire winter. For example: gas lines could be empty, electric could be off and propane deliveries might never come. Try to have one wood source of heat and a stock of wood even if you never intend to use it. If you have no way to do that you might consider buying a kerosene heater and keeping some fuel on hand. It is not the safest source of heat so you will have to keep some windows cracked to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning, but the 22,000 BTU's most kerosene heaters produce will keep a large room warm in any house. If you cannot do these things know where you can go in a time of crisis. Perhaps that will be a friend, relative or a church that is prepared. Don't count on any significant help from casual acquaintances or neighbors. They will have their own hands full. There will be government public shelters as a last resort but if there is air borne disease they may be deadly. In any situation God gives wisdom to His children that ask. Don't just believe or follow those with their own radical agendas. There will be anti government groups. If you follow them they will only get you killed or jailed. The prime objective is for you and your family to survive the crises. The objective is not to fight the inevitable globalization or new world order that you think is coming. As good as the US constitution is, in time of world crises, the government is not going to abide by it. So quoting the constitution to those in authority or taking up arms against the government is not going to accomplish your prime objective. Global government is inevitable or the Bible is wrong. If it is inevitable. There will not be anything that you can do about it when the god of this age is allowed to implement it. Make the God of creation your refuge and you will not be disappointed. He knows how to take care of His own. More Featured Articles by Don Koenig The Prophetic Years | Bible Prophecy - Christian worldviews and commentary

China Starts To Make A Power Move Against The U.S. Dollar
jv_coach posted a topic in Political Forum
by Michael Synder February 21, 2014 ~~In order for our current level of debt-fueled prosperity to continue, the rest of the world must continue to use our dollars to trade with one another and must continue to buy our debt at ridiculously low interest rates. Of course the number one foreign nation that we depend on to participate in our system is China. China accounts for more global trade than anyone else on the planet (including the United States), and most of that trade is conducted in U.S. dollars. This keeps demand for our dollars very high, and it ensures that we can import massive quantities of goods from overseas at very low cost. As a major exporting nation, China ends up with gigantic piles of our dollars. They lend many of those dollars back to us at ridiculously low interest rates. At this point, China owns more of our national debt than any other country does. But if China was to decide to quit playing our game and started moving away from U.S. dollars and U.S. debt, our economic prosperity could disappear very rapidly. Demand for the U.S. dollar would fall and prices would go up. And interest rates on our debt and everything else in our financial system would go up to crippling levels. So it is absolutely critical to our financial future that China continues to play our game. Unfortunately, there are signs that China has now decided to start looking for a smooth exit from the game. In November, I wrote about how the central bank of China has announced that it is "no longer in China’s favor to accumulate foreign-exchange reserves". That means that the pile of U.S. dollars that China is sitting on is not going to get any higher. In addition, China has signed a whole host of international currency agreements with other nations during the past couple of years which are going to result in less U.S. dollars being used in international trade. You can read about many of these agreements in this article. As Bloomberg reported the other day, China dumped nearly 50 billion dollars of U.S. debt during the month of December...China, the largest foreign U.S. creditor, reduced holdings of U.S. Treasury debt in December by the most in two years as the Federal Reserve announced plans to slow asset purchases.....This is how I would do it if I was China. I would try to dump 30, 40 or 50 billion dollars a month. I would try to make a smooth exit and try to get as much for my U.S. debt paper as I could [Hidden Content] -

[Hidden Content] People are all born ignorant but they are not born stupid. Much of the stupidity we see today is induced by our educational system, from the elementary schools to the universities. In a high-tech age that has seen the creation of artificial intelligence by computers, we are also seeing the creation of artificial stupidity by people who call themselves educators. Educational institutions created to pass on to the next generation the knowledge, experience and culture of the generations that went before them have instead been turned into indoctrination centers to promote whatever notions, fashions or ideologies happen to be in vogue among today's intelligentsia. Many conservatives have protested against the specifics of the things with which students are being indoctrinated. But that is not where the most lasting harm is done. Many, if not most, of the leading conservatives of our times were on the left in their youth. These have included Milton Friedman, Ronald Reagan and the whole neoconservative movement......

Lex Rex WHAT DOES LEX REX MEAN? The literal meaning of the two words is "Law King" . . . which as Rutherford explained ( and was imprisoned for what he said and came close to losing his head for it) . . . means the King (or man) is not the supreme Law; but the Law (God's Law) is the Law over all. Rutherford preached that even the Kings and other rulers are subject to God and His Law. In other words, it's not "Rex Lex" . . . meaning the King is Law; but it's "Lex Rex" . . .meaning the Law of God is King. While man in his greed for power and control, and in denial of the Supreme Being and His "rules for living" would like to believe "man can be as God" as the Bible tells us the Devil deceived Eve and then Adam into believing in the Garden of Eden, the truth is that God is still on His throne and all creation is subject to His infinite power and wisdom. Thus, it is axiomatic that "You can deny the Truth, but you can't change it." Rutherford's preaching inspired believers; and history tells us that their persecution by would-be "rulers of the World" down through the ages continues to the present time. Interestingly, America became the first nation on earth to be founded . . . from Mayflower Compact, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of the United States . . . as "One Nation Under God" . . . not one nation under man. Ours is not a "Democracy" (mob rule) but a "Republic" based upon God's Law . . a part of history no longer taught in Government Schools. You can see why Emperors, Kings, Dictators Tyrants, Nazis, Communists, Fascists, New World Order Advocates and all who have sought and are still seeking to control the people and resources of the World disagree and always will disagree with Rutherford and all others who declare that God and His Law is Supreme and all mankind is subject to Him. Witness the violence against those who say, "Our allegiance is to God. His Law is Supreme." For man's selfishness, greed and arrogance loyalty to God must be abolished. Loyalty to the State must be the order of the day. [Hidden Content]

Ukrainian translator on what is happening in his country:
jv_coach posted a topic in Political Forum
I got this from the Facebook page of Gotquestions ministries and is an insiders view to the Ukraine Crisis A letter from our Ukrainian translator on what is happening in his country: It is worthwhile to state at the outset that the current president, Viktor Yanukovych, has always been known as protege and close ally with Russia. According to journalists' investigations, he was a member of a gang and served in prison two times for robbery. Some went even further insisting on his close ties with organized crime in Ukraine. Back in 2004, he tried to win the presidential elections through falsifications, however, Ukrainians started the Orange revolution. Finally, he was able take over the president's office in 2010 when people became disappointed with ineffective politics of the 'Orange' leaders. After becoming the president, he pushed through amendments to the Constitution - because of the weak opposition, he gained full control over the parliament - changing Ukraine from a parliamentary republic to a presidential, which meant that he was responsible for appointment of all positions in the governing structures countrywide. People close to him took all the key offices in the country, like the Ministries of Taxes, Customs, Internal Affairs, the National Bank etc. Rest of positions, according to journalists, were sold to oligarchs. By the way, one of the oligarchs and the richest person in Ukraine who supported Yanukovych, Rinat Akhmetov, doubled his wealth over the past few years in spite of continuous economic decline in the country. Yanukovych's two sons immediately became multimillionaires spreading their influence over different areas of the Ukrainian economics. Increased influence of the Russian business interests was also obvious. Historically, Ukrainians are very patient and peaceful but corruption, lawlessness and injustice became more and more outrageous every year. Billions of Dollars of international aid, grants and investments were laundered and transferred to offshore accounts while Ukraine became the 2nd country by the death ratio because of poor medical services, low-quality food etc. Nevertheless, people still hoped that the government will keep their promises to move towards the European Union - people knew that corruption should have gone down under pressure of EU regulations. The real problems began in November 2013 after the last-minute government's decision to stop negotiations and refused to sign an Association Agreement with EU, announcing plans to join a trade union with Russia instead. People - mostly from the Western Ukraine, which has always been pro-European and politically active - and from Kiev came out to Maidan (Kiev's Central Square) to protest against that and to demand resuming of talks with EU. This was absolutely peaceful protest. However, the president and the rest of the government did not take that seriously - as well as the rest of the country. However, on December 1, police used force hoping to break the protest. Since that time, tensions have been increasing while the president continued to ignore the people's demands and adopted new laws forbidding mass gatherings, allowing police to cut off opposition media etc. instead. In spite of that and severe frosts, the amount of people in the Square was only increasing. In January, after another failed attempt of the opposition to persuade Yanukovych to make concessions, some radical protesters started to seize governmental buildings. Presumably, under pressure of Russia who was expected to provide a multibillion loan to Ukraine, the government allowed police and special forces to use guns, flash-bang grenades and water cannons (the temperature was around -4 Fahrenheit). In addition to that, hundreds, even thousands, of young people with criminal background - from the Eastern and Southern regions loyal to the regime because of their historically close ties with Russia and anti-European propaganda - were sent to Kiev to make provocations and beat, and even shoot protesters - many ordinary citizens suffered from them as well. At the same time, more and more people, previously indifferent, were joining the protests all over the country. The culmination of confrontation happened three days ago when police started shooting protesters with sniper rifles and submachine guns. Entrances to Kiev were blocked with police while train connection between Kiev and the Western Ukraine was stopped the cut off the protesters. Overall, over 100 people died in Kiev on Tuesday and Wednesday, many journalists and medics were injured (several were killed) in spite of their special uniform. On the one hand, that led to panic - people were buying out food and gas, withdrawing cash from banks, the local currency fell down against Dollar. On the other hand, that massacre united people all over the country irrespective of their language (de facto, half of Ukraine speaks Russian) and geographic location. People were going out to highways to stop buses bringing more troops to Kiev, the same with trains. Police and military people in some regions as well as a number of politicians that previously supported the president announced their support to protesters. That also forced Europe and US and some other countries - who were hesitant on introduction of sanctions against officials responsible for violence - to take more active steps. Under pressure of these events and of the international fellowship, parliament, previously controlled by the president, ordered military forces to cease fire and leave Kiev last night. Earlier today, the parliament has also unanimously resolved to revert to original Constitution and also announced early president elections at the end of 2014. The crisis is far from being over and tensions may start again if authorities will try to break their promises (some people in opposition believe the president should resign immediately and told they will continue protests otherwise). Police and emergency services are in fact defunct in many cities because radical groups seized local police departments so a wave of crime is possible so many volunteers patrol their neighborhoods. Nevertheless, to many of us, the fact that violence has stopped with no more fatalities is a sign of God's powerful hand and an answer to prayers. In general, these tragic and shocking events led many people to turn to God in prayers for peace and safety. Different churches were volunteering to people in Maidan, providing food, medicines and blankets and also sharing the truth from the Bible that the real nation's stability and prosperity is possible with God only. Numerous prayer tents were installed all over Maidan (some were burned by police later on) where prayer meetings were held regularly. The local Bible Society distributed all the free Scriptures that were available in their stock. Please keep praying for the Ukrainian nation and for God's wisdom to those who are responsible for taking decisions at this difficult time. -
Well since Yoga is used in other religions one could use some reason and deduct that Yoga and Christianity are opposed to one another.

[Hidden Content] Worth noting is a recent analysis by John Bolton, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations: “Putin might not actually be seeking to re-create the former Soviet Union’s boundaries but he is clearly bent on bringing the ‘near abroad’ back under Russian hegemony. Putin is playing old-fashioned power politics, declaring Moscow’s sphere of influence, while the West has essentially stood idle. Ukraine is the biggest prize. Putin openly endorsed incumbent Viktor Yanukovych for president in the 2010 Ukraine presidential election. And one can only guess at how much of Moscow’s resources went into propaganda, voter suppression and bribery — or even darker arts. “Given Ukraine’s size, strategic location and potential for Westernization, there is no doubt America should strongly and visibly oppose Putin’s policy,†Bolton notes. “Instead of developing a strategy, however, both the Obama administration and Congress are merely discussing potential sanctions against Kiev’s current government….What independent-minded Ukrainians really need is NATO membership — the sole realistic way to induce Moscow to scale back or cease its predatory conduct — and the only effective shield for countries unfortunate enough to border Russia. In 2008, however, the alliance failed dismally when timorous Western Europeans blocked the path to NATO membership for both Ukraine and Georgia. Leaving space between NATO’s eastern edge and Russia’s border all but invited Moscow to take advantage of the vacuum we ourselves created. Indeed, shortly after his inauguration, Yanukovych did Russia’s bidding by taking NATO membership off the table. NATO’s 2008 mistake also convinced Russia, a few months later, that it could safely invade Georgia, dismember it and ultimately orchestrate a pro-Moscow government. By contrast, NATO’s admission of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, all sharing borders with Russia, has brought them at least a measure of respite from aggressive cyber-warfare and other Moscow interference.â€

What is the Christian view of yoga? Question: "What is the Christian view of yoga?" Answer:For many Christians in the West who don't understand the history behind it, yoga is simply a means of physical exercise and strengthening and improving flexibility of the muscles. However, the philosophy behind yoga is much more than physically improving oneself. It is an ancient practice derived from India, believed to be the path to spiritual growth and enlightenment. The wordyogameans "union," and the goal is to unite one's transitory (temporary) self with the infinite Brahman, the Hindu concept of "God." This god is not a literal being, but is an impersonal spiritual substance that is one with nature and the cosmos. This view is called "pantheism," the belief that everything is God and that reality consists only of the universe and nature. Because everything is God, the yoga philosophy makes no distinction between man and God. Hatha yoga is the aspect of yoga which focuses on the physical body through special postures, breathing exercises, and concentration or meditation. It is a means to prepare the body for the spiritual exercises, with fewer obstacles, in order to achieve enlightenment. The practice of yoga is based on the belief that man and God are one. It is little more than self-worship disguised as high-level spirituality. The question becomes, is it possible for a Christian to isolate the physical aspects of yoga as simply a method of exercise, without incorporating the spirituality or philosophy behind it? Yoga originated with a blatantly anti-Christian philosophy, and that philosophy has not changed. It teaches one to focus on oneself instead of on the one true God. It encourages its participants to seek the answers to life's difficult questions within their own consciousness instead of in the Word of God. It also leaves one open to deception from God's enemy, who searches for victims that he can turn away from God (1 Peter 5:8). Whatever we do should be done for God's glory (1 Corinthians 10:31), and we would be wise to heed the words of the apostle Paul: "Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise" (Philippians 4:8, NLT). Read more:[Hidden Content]

"Evil shall slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, and none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned" (Psalms 34:21, 22). How unspeakably thankful we are to God for “imputed†righteousness. Guilty sinners though we are, we are clothed in the righteousness of Christ and will not be condemned with this evil world: “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil†(John 3:18-19). -

You make some valid points but what if one put "in the name of their god" instead of" in the name of God" would that make a difference? Does or does not each religion have a different view on Deity ie Hinduism, Islam, Judaism , Christianity, Secularism,Atheism, Agnostic, New Age Spirituality. With all that being said the study shows that of all religious war, Islam is the major culprit (thus your time in the mideast) and even with Islams bloody Jihads religion is not the major factor in wars. So the point of the article is for an atheist to take the moral high ground and accuse Christians for causing all wars is intellectually dishonesty mixed with hypocrisy. Not saying you do that , but I have heard it more than once. -
The Myth that Religion is the #1 Cause of War

So please name me the "lots of" in which you speak? ---- An interesting source of truth on the matter is Philip and Axelrod’s three-volume Encyclopedia of Wars, which chronicles some 1,763 wars that have been waged over the course of human history. Of those wars, the authors categorize 123 as being religious in nature,2 which is an astonishingly low 6.98% of all wars. However, when one subtracts out those waged in the name of Islam (66), the percentage is cut by more than half to 3.23%. That means that all faiths combined – minus Islam – have caused less than 4% of all of humanity’s wars and violent conflicts. Further, they played no motivating role in the major wars that have resulted in the most loss of life. Kind of puts a serious dent into Harris’ argument, doesn’t it? -
The Myth that Religion is the #1 Cause of War by Robin Schumacher edited by Matt Slick Atheists and secular humanists consistently make the claim that religion is the #1 cause of violence and war throughout the history of mankind. One of hatetheism's key cheerleaders, Sam Harris, says in his book The End of Faith that faith and religion are “the most prolific source of violence in our history.â€1 While there’s no denying that campaigns such as the Crusades and the Thirty Years’ War foundationally rested on religious ideology, it is simply incorrect to assert that religion has been the primary cause of war. Moreover, although there’s also no disagreement that radical Islam was the spirit behind 9/11, it is a fallacy to say that all faiths contribute equally where religiously-motivated violence and warfare are concerned. An interesting source of truth on the matter is Philip and Axelrod’s three-volume Encyclopedia of Wars, which chronicles some 1,763 wars that have been waged over the course of human history. The truth is, non-religious motivations and naturalistic philosophies bear the blame for nearly all of humankind’s wars. Lives lost during religious conflict pales in comparison to those experienced during the regimes who wanted nothing to do with the idea of God – something showcased in R. J. Rummel’s work Lethal Politics and Death by Government: Non-Religious Dictator Lives Lost Joseph Stalin - 42,672,000 Mao Zedong - 37,828,000 Adolf Hitler - 20,946,000 Chiang Kai-shek - 10,214,000 Vladimir Lenin - 4,017,000 Hideki Tojo - 3,990,000 Pol Pot - 2,397,0003 Rummel says: “Almost 170 million men, women and children have been shot, beaten, tortured, knifed, burned, starved, frozen, crushed or worked to death; buried alive, drowned, hung, bombed or killed in any other of a myriad of ways governments have inflicted death on unarmed, helpless citizens and foreigners. The dead could conceivably be nearly 360 million people. It is though our species has been devastated by a modern Black Plague. And indeed it has, but a plague of Power, not germs.â€4 The historical evidence is quite clear: Religion is not the #1 cause of war. If religion can’t be blamed for most wars and violence, then what is the primary cause? The same thing that triggers all crime, cruelty, loss of life, and other such things. Jesus provides the answer very clearly: “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man†(Mark 7:21–23). James (naturally) agrees with Christ when he says: “What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel†(James 4:1–2). In the end, the evidence shows that the atheists are quite wrong about the wars they claim to so desperately despise. Sin is the #1 cause of war and violence, not religion, and certainly not Christianity. 1.[Hidden Content] 2.[Hidden Content] 3.[Hidden Content],672,000&source=bl&ots=Tw7FJG9OnR&sig=aSUiodXqC4euU2UTyVNlnFkwyRE&hl=en&sa=X&ei=fc2KT7rnNcipgwe9tL3mCQ&ved=0CFMQ6AEwBw#v=onepage&q=stalin%2042%2C672%2C000&f=false and [Hidden Content],828,000&source=bl&ots=-VlfCns1xy&sig=2TrcOYMxZTjr653ULLdNkIkltwU&hl=en&sa=X&ei=2c6KT-G7BYGXgwf63-3kCQ&ved=0CEsQ6AEwBg#v=onepage&q=Zedong%2037%2C828%2C000&f=false 4.[Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]

[quote name="Dan Smith" post="1402127" timestamp="1367984513"] This is on the coaches. They should've known the rules. I wouldn't expect a player to know this rule. I feel sorry for they players. [/quote] People no matter what age know when they are doing wrong. Yes, the coach is to blame but the kids are not that innocent. -
AD and HeadBasketball!! Wow, why would they do that?
