    From what I have heard, GCM has a pretty solid RB that transferred in. He should be cleared to play by Friday.

    KF with two big plays- 1st play of the game and their 1st play of the 3rd qtr. Other than that, pretty even. GCM moved the ball fairly well when they went North and South. Not so well going sideways (funny how that works). Not a terrible 1st game. Always good to get it on film. Now it's time to coach'em up.

    That is the only comparison for those two programs right now. Lee is a shell of what they once were. GCM has under performed since Rupp and Thames left. There was plenty of talent there. I hope the new coach turns things around. It helps having an AD in Martinez and a Campus AD in Carter who are both baseball guys. Looking for GCM to make another playoff appearance soon.

    Strange but true: MSU coach Chris Lemonis attended school in Baytown until 1986. After his jr year at Sterling, his father was relocated with U S Steel.

    Alvin was the original HS, GCM was the 3rd. All the growth in Baytown is in GCM zones. Don't see that comparison at all. Maybe on a competitive level, but that's probably why GCM is getting a new coach.

    Alvin HS is the Lee HS of Alvin ISD. Rich history and traditions, but newer schools are taking over.
