I'm a realist. Ride or die with the Horns. They have not done well at developing o linemen. Need these new guys to change that. aTm is getting o-linemen paid. Thats a tough sell to beat. They are not going there because they want to be aggies. They want to play in the NFL.

As long as its not Whitting (complete ass) or Childress (constant underachiever) Texas will be fine.

Hudson will be an aggie. Can't blame an olineman for going there right now.

The moment they enroll as a full time student at that university, they use a year of eligibility. That's why many of them did not enroll this summer as most D1 schools now require- to halt that clock. If they enroll and do not participate in a game, they are eligible to red-shirt. (5 years to play 4 rule)

They always have open scholarships. Kids transfer, do not qualify academically, etc... It's like a hotel saying they are booked. They always have a few rooms available.

Yes, he's funny (although he is basically the same character in every movie now). I liked him best in "The Office". 'We Are the Millers" is very funny. Plus, it has Jennifer Aniston (body double or not). That is always a plus. I really enjoy Andy Sudeikis. He is my kind of funny. One of the most disgusting scenes I have ever seen in a movie was in "Hall Pass". If you have seen that movie, you know which one I'm talking about.

So did you like the new one? Way too over the top for me. I like shock humor, just did not think this one was funny.

1st two seasons especially. Season 3 was not my favorite. Season 4 was much improved.

Not sure who the job was actually offered to. Just because the AD meets with them, does not mean they were offered the job. I just know they have not hired a new coach as of today.

It was time for a change. There are some good, young coaches out there (not named Todd Whitting) that will be successful if given the opportunity. All those guys that "turned down" the job started somewhere. Time to drop the ego and give one of them a chance to prove himself. It can't be any worse that it has been for the past two seasons.

I assume they are waiting for the CWS to end. Not much happening otherwise. At this point I would be shocked if a land a big fish. The deciding factor used to be the money, now most programs can match the money. Why would they leave to re-build UT?

Jasper vs Silsbee- First high school game I ever attended. Kirby Stadium. "Stop, look, and listen here come the mighty Tigers". My mom was a Silsbee grad and my grandparents lived in Silsbee and worked for the lumber mill. Great atmosphere between the sugar cane (or whatever that was that was around Kirby Stadium). I was only 7 years old. Baytown Lee vs Baytown Sterling: The Game- Back in the 70's and early 80's this was clearly one of the greatest high school rivalry games in the state. Easily 10K to 12K in attendance. Even now, it will be the highest attended game for both schools. (Sorry. Could not think of 3 others.)
