  1. So is the Gorman pipeline closed?
  2. No. We have unions. Texas American Federation of Teachers, Texas Classroom Teachers Association, and ATPE. They provide legal services, etc...We do not have Collective Bargaining.
  3. If she is a member of certain teacher unions, they may be funding the appeals.
  4. None of them were "SEC ready" anyway.
  5. This is what my aggie buddy is selling: "Mazzone had cooled on Martell. Started recruiting other QB's. He wanted to visit other schools, but wanted us to not look around at other QB's. The kid from crosby was looking elsewhere too. we told him that if he looked around their wouldn't neccessarily be a spot for him." All a part of the Aggie master plan. The sky is not falling. It is a beautiful shade of burnt orange. The way God intended it to be. Hook,em!
  6. Hey aggies, anything exciting happen on Twitter last night?
  7. There is always some sort of conflict. We have 3 high schools and we try not to all schedule Prom on the same weekend. Prom is overrated IMO.
  8. The Shark and the Predator will be OK no matter where he lines them up. Hook'em!
  9. I bet they probably wanted the later start after a long night. Not a real senior heavy team, but still a distraction.
  10. GCM vs Kingwood Park Friday, May 6th, 5:00 PM at GCM Saturday, May 7th, 5:00 PM at Kingwood Park (if a 3rd game is needed, they will play 30 minutes following GM 2) This is GCM's Prom weekend. It will be interesting to see how they respond.
  11. Parsing words is exactly why some schools/players run afoul of the law and some do not. If you show up to a Little League game and tie shoes and hold a clipboard, you are not working. Heck, like most dads I "coached" LL for many years and never got paid a dime. It's called volunteering. If a parent offers to pay you for hitting/pitching lessons, that's work.
  12. They can work. The problem here it seems is they were being paid to do nothing. That is exactly why the rule is in place. The UIL and the NCAA do not prevent someone from supporting themselves. They try to prevent instances where student-athletes are paid to do nothing. Players at UH work the university's summer baseball camps. They get paid by the University. Does it also ensure they are working out, etc..? Sure it does.
