That's what I'm saying. When a player wants to come to your school, you ask questions. I assume Peterson told Briles what he knew and still signed a clean transfer. Maybe that included domestic violence, maybe not. It did include details about insubordination, missing practice, etc... none of which appear on the transfer form, but all red flags IMO.
Both programs are at fault here. I get the feeling Peterson told Briles personally what was up with this kid. He then signed off on the transfer request and allowed the kid to leave. Headache gone. Happens all the time even at the high school level. Not necessarily involving this degree of misconduct, but it does happen to a lesser extent. Bottom line, if you don't want fleas, don't lay with dogs.
Lee grad, Arkansas grad, and former Dallas QB Clint Stoerner has been hired by the SEC Network. Happy for Clint. He's a good guy. (Despite the teams he's associated with.)
Right or wrong, Patterson will be gone soon. He is trying to run the athletics department from strictly a business standpoint- Al about the bottom line. On one side it is very good. On the flip side it is costing them some loyal donors.
They have deemed his score as questionable. He will need to re-take the test. This happens more than you think. They just took their time in ruling on a decision.
TE D. Carrington will have to re-take his ACT to gain. NCAA approval to enroll at UT. He initially made a 26. The state average in Florida was a 19. Immediate red flag.
