  1. That about sums it up. UT does not need the Big XII. The Big XII needs UT.
  2. ESPN listed 12 possible NFL opennings this off-season. Gruden ain't going to college.
  3. The transfer process is complete BS. Coaches can move without any consequences. Athletes are screwed. I think a player with grade or discipline issues needs to sit a year. If you took care of your business off the field, you should be able to transfer without limitations. You are recruited by one coach and the HC has no loyalty or relationship with any of them. Gotta stop. Blood pressure is rising,
  4. Better hope they hire a coach that runs the ball.
  5. That may be true, but I have never heard them mentioned in that conversation.
  6. "@TomVH: RT @ESPNRittenberg Wisconsin’s academic policies for getting players in had to play huge part in Andersen’s decision. Had been frustrated." First I have ever heard Wisconsin mentioned as a high academic school.
  7. I have learned that's what you say when a player de-commits. Trying to remember where I heard it first...
  8. If Alvarez wants to coach the team, just coach the damn team. Why would anyone take this job now? Resume build?
  9. Looks like someone is scared of competition:   Jordan Stevenson decommits from Texas. The RB announces via Twitter @Jordanstevie2: With all do respect it's been nice UT   Adios!
  10. Hopefully the Horns get some nice participation gifts. Sounds like they don't stand a chance.
  11.   He takes up a very small space.    I will venture a guess that you have no idea if Clowny or John is lazy. I assert one of them could be.
  12.   Yes. Often they become over-hyped, back-up, NFL quarterbacks who get named the starter with 3 weeks to play in the season.
  13.   "Many people do well after this surgery. Recovery time can be slow. Many people can go back to sports or other intense activities in about 4 to 6 months. Athletes in very intense sports may not be able to return to their former level. People under age 40 with a recent cartilage injury often have the best results. People that are not overweight also have better results."   [Hidden Content]   [Hidden Content]
  14. Not good. Not good at all. Sounds like Sam Bowie. His body could not support his size and broke down. "@BleacherReport: After having undergone microfracture knee surgery on Monday, Jadeveon Clowney is expected to be sidelined 9 months, per @AdamSchefter"
  15.   With Beamer's health issues, would he not be a candidate at Tech when Beamer does leave?
