  That's not the feedback I've read. He has made a very favorable impression with the high school coaches.   Bottom line, unless you've spoken with Coach Strong, you really don't know why he has pulled the offer.He can pull all of Coach Brown's offers is he deems it necessary.   I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until the losses out weigh the wins. In the end, that's all that really matters.

He was a very strong recruiter while at Florida. He did a solid job recruiting at a basketball school (and state) at Louisville. We will see how he does after a full year at Texas.

  Recruiting Stars on paper don't make plays on the field. There is a reason Coach Strong elected to pull the offer. He's not going to air the dirty laundry. Until proved otherwise, I'll assume Coach Strong knows what he is doing. Especially as it relates to defensive position players. His track record for recruiting stands on it's own merit.

  NE may have more value on Mallet than just a 2nd Rd pick. I could see Brady retiring in 2 years and Mallett taking over.

I like him too. There are some quality QBs to take in rounds 2-3.

Sounds more and more like Clowney #1 and a QB as the 1st pick in round 2. Some speculate that 2 of the top 3 QBs will fall to Rd 2.

Xfinity and Comcast are the same company. Not quite sure how they are different, but they are often referred to as separate entities. We have gone from Time Warner to Comcast to Xfinity. Never changing a thing. We have not experienced any effects of this "blackout".

I have had no problems watching the Astros and Rockets in Baytown on Xfinity. Watching the game right now on 639.

  His skill set was really never in question. I just wonder once he gets "paid" what his motivation level will be.   He and Watt could cause severe headaches for a lot of offensive game planners.
