10 year contract. How many universities are dumb enough to sign a coach to a 10 year contract?

Lateral moves just don't happen in the NCAA. In 1976 Johnny Majors won a NC at Pittsburgh and left for Tennessee. Granted, Pitt was an Independent at the time, but Tenn was not a big time job. Very similar optic IMO. Leaving an established program like FSU, with a NC under your belt, to take over a perennial middle of the pack team. Something smells funny. Not sure what it is. Probably the smell of money.

I think many of the people involved are tired of being held hostage by him. Did the same crap last year. Either he wants to be your coach or he does not.

It's not like FSU is throwing money at him to stay. Kind of says a lot to me.

Going to set aside my dislike for aTm today. Nothing worse than someone who screws over your child. Beat the HELL outa Cougar High. However, if Iowa somehow wins, cancel this post.

Coach Chris Rupp and the Deer adavance to Round Rock. Deer Park wins 2-1 with a bases loaded walk in the 8th inning. So happy for Coach. Hope he can get a state championship.
