If you can't win at Texas, you get fired. If you can't win at Collie Station, no one cares. Therein lies the difference.

No. AAU was only a minor part and not the focus of why the district made a change. A group a parents asked that the new coach have more interest in AAU activities. -

TIM FINN NAMED NEW HEAD COACH AT BAYTOWN LEE
Peppermint Patty replied to Peppermint Patty's topic in High School Football
They could win 4 games next year. Not impossible. If they don't rezone, not far fetched to see them drop to 4A. -
Kingwood at GCM has been moved to Wednesday. Same time and location. I assume RSS will be announcing the same thing soon.

Nah. He's not going to be a position coach unless he chooses to do so. He was not asked to leave REL. It was his choice. -
TIM FINN NAMED NEW HEAD COACH AT BAYTOWN LEE

If they balance the enrollment at all three GCCISD high schools, Lee will have a chance to compete. If not, it will be tough. Some coach will take a shot there. What's the worst that can happen? -

You might be surprised. There are worse ways to earn $95K a year. -
They will have to beat them once to force a tie breaker game for sure.

Channelview currently holds the tie breaker. Game 2 will be big.

This was one falls on the shoulders of a poor hitting approach. Chased way too many 1st pitch breaking balls. Just bad AB after bad AB. Clemens getting ejected early did not help either.

I think these "mushroom clouds" might be the Left's problem.

Who is this Obama that you speak of? As long as the United States has God's chosen people as an ally, it will all be alright.

"You know, every night when I go out on stage, there's always one nagging fear in the back of my mind. I'm always afraid that somewhere out there, there is one person in the audience that I'm not going to offend!" Rest in Peace, Mr. Rickles -

Thompson has been wrong before. -
I would say, yes. You have to give North Shore, Kingwood and Atascocita their credit. Well established and very talented programs. Still, GCM has established themselves as a very good baseball program since they opened the doors 10 years ago. Hopefully they will get things going in the 2nd round of district play.

No. They should be able to compete with those teams. Two D1 commits: University of Houston University of Louisiana One NAIA commit: Our Lady of the Lake (San Antonio) All are pitchers.
