The committee will be rooting very hard on the Tar Heels. If UNC wins, instant validation.

đđ¤Łđ 𤣠I must admit the comedy relief provided by aggy who thought they were getting in was a âwinâ in general.
-
In the end, NDâs best win was better than aggyâs and their second best win was as well. Plus, itâs a blue blood school that turns on sets vs a school thatâs not even the biggest draw in its own state. No one but aggy is surprised by this.
-
Poor Aggy đ𤣠Good news is, apparently you will get the opportunity for Mack Brown to continue his ownership of all things aggy. So thereâs that. Of course, we will get the âthey didnât want to be there,â even though theyâve been in BCS bowls almost never...

Nah just put Cincinnati in if they win. ND and A&M both got railed by two of the teams in. Of all the years, this is the one to put a mid major in. And Cincy would have gone undefeated in the 6th best conference.

Alabama In. Ohio St in. Notre Dame in. Will last spot go to Clemson or Cincinnati?

Do you honestly think Bush was a better HS player than Stephen Jackson? -

Iâm not going to say Kasen was the best but he was right there. What I will say is that after watching Lamar play Southern Miss Tuesday, he might already be the Cardsâ best player. He certainly was that night. And along with a 6-8, big bodied knockdown shooter from Estonia for USM, Kasen was one of the two best players in the gym that night. -

Thereâs the fallacy of so manyâs thinking when ranking players. Much more to basketball than scoring.... -

Me too. I wouldnât be surprised if the top 3 teams all split. -
I agree. The difference in most of the teams this year in that district is razor thin. Every win or loss is huge. Hate to see it handled that way. And as AAW stated, really no reason it couldnât have been made up.

Their PG I do like a whole lot. I think heâs only a sophomore. -

And let me state again that I love every single thing about Braelon bush. He has the heart of a lion and is an unbelievable competitor with a skill set through the roof. Probably one of my top 10 favorite kids to watch play HS basketball. And probably way up on that top 10 list. And just a fantastic kid off the court from a great family. -

What isnât true about that? Hefner started his second game as an Aggie. Because you were a naysayer for 4 years and something in your draw against him, doesnât make you anymore right now than you were then. I would venture to say Buzz Williams has forgotten more basketball than you know... -

BC shoots it at least as well as LCM and will have the best player in the gym (imo) when those two play. Should be good games when those two play. -

Dude, there are two players in Bushâs class from Texas that will likely be lottery pick. I love Braelon and love his game but put down the pipe. -

I think Fridayâs game between BC and OF could be between the other two playoff teams (with Silsbee and Lumberton). -

Agreed. And just because a coach plays a lot of players, doesnât mean you have depth. I remember a coach in this district who no longer coaches. He would play 10 deep every year, and put in the same subs for the same starters at almost the same time every quarter (at least through three quarters). Same thing every game, every year. And the talent level toward the end of those rotations was like falling off a cliff. He was PLAYING depth without HAVING depth. Drove me nuts. If you are making the same subs at the same time in each game, regardless of score, situation, etc, you arenât coaching, youâre scripting. And you might should be in one act play instead of basketball. The really good ones like Mitchell make those decisions in game, not before the ball is even tipped. -
Van Wade with the Orange Leader had Baltrip with 12 boards as well. A lot of balance in those numbers. I donât think this is a bad effort from the Cats though and as DJ says above, they have a great shot at making the playoffs.

He can be limited in scoring. If you have an elite on-ball defender, he will struggle to score the ball just with his size limitations and athleticism (or lack thereof). We played him once this summer and he was held scoreless. But heâs one of those kids that does all the little things that he will hurt you even when heâs not scoring.
