  1. I will let you know when you get to that point, buddy. The good news is that at that point, you won’t understand what I’m telling you anyway.
  2. [Hidden Content] What say you Nash? Apparently, according to the Fortune article, analysts at other banks are making similar economic predictions. Seems a bit antithetical to me.
  3. I hope you’re right but I believe Hardin County still controls this district. Silsbee and Lumberton should finish 1-2 Silsbee will always have the most quality depth and Lumberton has the best player in the district this year in McClure. As for the Orange County teams, you left out the best player (imo). Grant Boudreaux is the most complete player and has an elite basketball IQ. He is a true combo guard that can play both positions equally well. I will qualify that by saying this is among LCM, BC, and OF. I’m not as familiar with what WOS and Vidor have coming back.
  4. Still moved on I see. #ObsessionNoted #PoorAggy 😂
  5. Such a bad sequence there. Coaching.
  6. Now we are getting flags as we line up to run the next play. But only after a big play. How is Herman watching this go on without losing his mind?
  7. They beat Silsbee and HJ. The talent level between HF and those two wasn’t close last year. HF MAY have had one player that could have started for either of those two schools. Rideaux isn’t a popular guy with his opponents but he can flat out coach. Period.
  8. Unbelievable. Apparently the idiot zebra was the only one in the country that didn’t see that.
  9. I think most thought they would be middle of the pack which is where they usually finish. And usually beat us in the process.
  10. They’ve played one game. Obviously a huge sample size. I don’t know that they are Vanderbilt bad but they weren’t good last week.
  11. NCAA has to get this officiating worked out. Clown show.
  12. Well we’ve heard the excuses from HJ and the excuses from Silsbee. Anyone from Huffman on this board to offer the excuse for their loss? One thing I’ve noticed over a lot of years in this game. Rarely do you hear how great a team played when they get beat. Funny how that works.
  13. Your friend that used to coach is not even close on that first sentence. I have no idea on the second sentence. I don’t know what summer team any of their kids play for. But it’s not unusual for HS teams to play some together in the summer anymore.
  14. I would be losing my mind on this rag tag officiating crew that keeps picking up flags on clear penalties. The hold on the run that set the TCU touchdown up and the PI at the goal line couldn’t be easier calls. What are these morons doing? We don’t need the crew that called the Lake Travis game last night.
  15. Maybe one day we will be able to watch a basketball game together again. Wild, crazy notion.
  16. Quote: “Game changer? Get back with me when they beat Silsbee.” HF: “Hold my beer.”
  17. Split with Silsbee, HJ, and both Orange schools and lost both to LTown. I think anyway.
  18. C’mon. Beat silsbee and HJ in the same season the with the best player on campus on JV. People were laughing before the season when some of us were saying that hire was a game changer. They weren’t laughing anymore when they took that L. I understand they took 4th in a district that was very strong. They won 25 games which was more than the previous 6 seasons combined. Then they beat a very strong 30-3 Huffman team no one gave them a shot against in bi-district. So to downplay it as merely a 4th place finish in a 7 team district is either disingenuous, woefully uninformed, or perhaps a little more concerned about who plays where than one would lead others to believe. In any event, stay tuned. They’re just getting started.
  19. Extraordinary risk?? You have to be in the top 1% in fitness for your age group. Don’t know your other issues but I know you are in good shape and ornery as hell. That’s half the battle.
  20. Orange County claims 6 have died to date from the virus. Somehow I’ve ended up with 3 estates where the person died from corona, two I knew pretty well, neither in terrible shape. (Age range from mid 50s to mid 70s.). And we hear the deaths are over reported. I have a hard time believing that half the people who died in this county had their family end up in my office. But point being, most of the time people handle it well, but it can go horribly wrong. The older you are, and the heavier you are, the higher risk. Prayers for our president and First Lady. Seen some hateful things online today about them and their condition. Regardless of how you feel about him or his politics, you have to be a sick individual to wish anyone to die.
  21. I don’t know what was deleted, but I did notice that the OP apparently has higher standards for his mechanics than he does for his presidents. 😂 Of course, it’s much easier to find an honest mechanic than it is a politician. I think we all can agree on that.
  22. Agreed. They may be the favorite to win the region, depending on what kind of roster Yates has. I’m sure Coach Wise had some salary cap space open up due to all the graduates but seems like Hightower is cramping Yates’ style this year.
