  1. How did the freshman play for Memorial? I was extremely impressed with him last week. His shooting got them back in the Concordia game.
  2. Boudreaux with 32 for the Cardinals with 7 3s. Hefner had 33 for the Bulldogs. Ned came out flat and looked flat the whole game.
  3. BC 65 Ned 60 F No other way to frame it. That’s a bad loss for Nederland.
  4. Was this regular season or fall ball? Tigers will be fine. It’s tough to play these types of game without being fully staffed. Especially if you don’t have the ones you do have on their A games.
  5. I believe this one is a 6 pm start, varsity game only.
  6. I’m glad I didn’t read this one while taking a drink...
  7. CC Sabathia David Wells Cecil Fielder Mo Vaughn I wasn’t talking about baseball. If you don’t think LeBron or Big Zion could have been elite in football, well...okay. I’m sure Bo can’t hit a golf ball like John Daly either. So if basketball guys can’t play baseball like Bo is your argument, okay. Bo also probably couldn’t keep from being put on a poster, in his prime, by either of those guys. I was merely saying from a pure athletic standpoint (I.e., athleticism), most of that isn’t found on a diamond anymore. Which may be why the recent World Series, played by two of the league’s most storied franchises in two of its bigger markets, finished right behind Seinfeld reruns in the tv ratings...
  8. Deion played in both leagues as well. Hell, Dave Winfield got drafted in all 3 leagues. If you don’t think LeBron could have been in Canton one day had he chose football, I think you’re kidding yourself. And Zion could put on 20 lbs and be the best athlete on any football field, PLAYING LEFT TACKLE. Why do the kids choose basketball? I’d like to say career longevity and not putting their lives on a crash course with CTE. But the truth is, the great ones sign shoe deals worth more money than a Hall of Famer’s career earnings in the other sports. That’s before you get into super max contracts. As for hitting a 95 mile per hour fastball into the cheap seats, I present to you Exhibit A. John Kruk I rest my case.
  9. Does “our time” include the current players? I would put LeBron in that conversation. And Zion Williamson is the best athlete I’ve ever seen period. Ever.
  10. Oh that’s right. Jumbo’s recruiting numbers have gone down since he no longer has a hot wife playing choo choo conductor in the locker room.
  11. The same number of Natty’s as poooooor aggy in it’s history? Thanks for the assist.
  12. Mack is so obsessed he can’t help himself. He is a sad little man. Honestly, I feel sorry for him. And to Mack, let it go. Move on like your Alma mater claims it has. But for the love of Pete, let it go. Not everyone can get into UT. Everyone knows this. That doesn’t make you less of a man. But your uncontrollable obsession with all things Longhorn might.
  13. I love when aggy talks about what’s working out well. There are like 2 of them still alive that remember what it’s like to have things “work out so well.”
  14. BH won’t finish ahead of Nederland imo. There is a bigger separation between Ned and BH than Memorial and Ned. Cleveland could finish 4th but they could finish 6th. Chance Brown is a player, and they have some good athletes around him, but they are moving up in class after being mostly underwhelming the last few years.
  15. They “just ran out of time” to get to the game....
  16. He was shooting it better than I’ve ever seen him this fall. That was the one thing he needed to do consistently to really raise his stock even more. Look out.
  17. That’s a good win. Lakes should be pretty good this year.
  18. There was no “proof” Johnny did it. I mean the selfies the idiot took in a Vegas bathroom with a rolled up dollar bill could have been anything. Certainly nothing as concrete as a “tweet by a raving lunatic”...
  19. He’s got a wonderful adoptive mother. Father not so much.
