Duke has a fab 5 of their of own although the 5th member was a reclass (we actually played and beat his team in indy this summer) - Joey Baker. I don’t think he was quite ready for this level but we shall see. The other 4 are ALL legit, top 10 guys. RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson are both #1 in the draft type players in most years. The good news for you Duke haters is that Coach K is laying a relative egg for the 2019 class and will lose 3 for sure to the NBA lottery (Barrett, Williamson ans Reddish) and may lose Jones as well. The other freshman that I really love is Quentin Grimes from The Woodlands who is apparently having a monster game for Kansas tonight. He’s another lock one-and-done that just does a ton of stuff really well. Some question his shooting but I heard he was 3-4 from the 3 in the first half against Mich St.

Bama wins 29-0 and I come away impressed with LSU’s defense. Pretty sure that might have been the two defenses in CFB on the field tonight.

Either CFB is down as a whole this year or this is one of the GOAT teams. I tend to lean toward the latter. As to the former, I don’t think there’s anyone close. Clemson and Michigan are probably the two teams playing the next best football right now. Clemson is hard to say because they were very unimpressive before playing the ultra-weak ACC teams. But that’s just searching for someone who can play with Bama. And I’m still not sure any game would be tougher than playing LSU in BR in that atmosphere. They are just a class above (or two) everyone else. Time for the Cowboys to hire Nick. He’s destroyed CFB.

This may be the loudest I’ve ever heard a college stadium. I don’t think there’s a louder venue in sports than Tiger Stadium in a night game. LSU becomes the first team of 2018 that keeps Bama out of the end zone on an opening possession.

I really like Andrew Beck’s game. Old school, lunch pail type tight end. Does a lot of things really well.
