  1. It is almost impossible for a fan base not to get “spoiled” by runs like the Mustangs have had. I would hope that most understand that their coaches didn’t forget how to coach over the offseason. But nothing surprises me anymore.
  2. Actually couldn’t be further from the truth. Cornel does everything he can not to show up a coach or team. Attempted field goals on 1st down in the whole second half, etc., he is the furthest thing from a run it up coach. Barbay, unlike the poster here, absolutely knows this.
  3. Depends on which part of ‘82
  4. Or he’s an independent thinker that agrees with some policies but not others. In other words, a highly intelligent, fair minded individual who has decided to share his fortune with his employees (see OP). Can’t imagine how he’s found such success.
  5. Thank goodness Jeff Bezos got it figured out in the last year and a half. I was worried about Amazon before that. Bezos plays it pretty close to the vest politically but I’m sure based on his substantial and open support for gay marriage and undocumented “dreamers,” he and Trump are likely simpatico.
  6. . Sorry. Finished watching clip and language was a little rough so removed. Same reason haven’t posted the pulp fiction parody which was pretty geniusly done.
  7. The beauty of most sports is that the games are decided on the field/court. Polls can be fun but are fallible and often egregious mistakes are made, even at the highest levels. When sports writers are voting in polls where 90%+ of the teams they haven’t laid eyes in on (like Texas HS sports), credibility should be given accordingly. Or to state it as it was once succinctly (and maybe perversely) stated to me, “polls are for strippers.”
  8. Herbstreit is a moron... not even tOSU fans like him
  9. Here is clip I was talking about. Texas-OU is the first topic of discussion, conveniently. Love Klatt, even when he’s critical of Texas. He’s Kirk Herbstreit with a brain. [Hidden Content]
  10. Exactly! Don’t do it again! (I hope you win every other bet, so long as you continue to be the kiss of death for our opponents. Well, even if you don’t but it does make you more endearing.)
  11. Great breakdown of the game today by Colin Cowherd and Joel Klatt on The Herd. Both like OU to win a close game but spent most of the segment talking about Texas. Both are big on Herman and the improvements made by middle of his second season. Klatt made an interesting point about the game. Both agree Lincoln Riley is the best offensive mind in CFB. However, Klatt said Orlando is Riley’s kryptonite. Pointed out he beat him at U of H and Texas was the only defense to hold OU under 30 last year (they put up more than 30 against even Georgia and Ohio State’s defense). Hopefully he can slow Kyler down this weekend. He’s easily one of the two most impressive QBs I’ve seen this season, along with Tua.
  12. Are there ANY? It’s a shame come hate week for a rivalry game that’s in everyone’s top 5. I will continue with my pessimism for this week and say this is where we lose again. It’s worked the last 3 weeks.
  13. See this is what I’m talking about. I thought in his presser that he said they have been much improved because he is an “awesome dumbo.”
  14. LSU really intrigues me this year. They have a murderous schedule this month, visiting the swamp, and then hosting UGA, Mississippi Aggy and Bama. I think they have a great shot to be undefeated going into the Bama game, assuming they don’t have a letdown against the Gators or Miss St, and assuming home field is the difference in the Georgia game. I think they and Georgia match up pretty evenly, with LSU’s defense being a bit better and Georgia having a little more umph in its offense. I would love to see what an LSU team could do with a high powered, unpredictable offense, much like Bama is sporting this year. As far as the Bama game goes, if anyone could prove they are human, it’s the Tigers in Death Valley*. I’m not sure they are and would be surprised if they lose this year, but that’s the one game before the playoffs where it would be possible. If LSU goes into that game without a blemish, the atmosphere will be unreal there. It will be anyway but going head to head in a battle of unbeatens will be insane. And as much as I hate to admit it, it’s hard not to like Coach Mushmouth.
  15. Real upset or moral victory upset. There are all kinds of ways to win in the Pyle you know.
  16. I agree. They would be top 3 in my poll. As much as I hate to admit it, I would go 1. Bama 2. UGA 3. LSU. Georgia and LSU will work itself out next week I think.
  17. I consider AAW a pal and top 5 on my list of favorite Aggies. I would enjoy throwing back a few with him, even during an aggy longhorn game.
  18. I am always respectful to all aggy and gomers. I love you goofy little b@$+@;¥s.
  19. Bill Snyder. One coach who the hand shake at the end of the game is still more than ceremonial.
  20. Any win, and I mean ANY win in Manhattan I will take. Bring on hate week!
  21. Ingram remind anyone else of Cedric Benson?
  22. And I get that Herman’s offense is best with a dual threat QB. But passing is a big part of that dual. I have to think Roschon will have a chance to play early and often.
