I’m sure he’s not losing any sleep over it so why should we. By the way, one thing I have noticed about is there is no stat padding involved. Whoever stats their games does an excellent job. If he would have, we would have been pretty terrible. He is way over his head at that level. By the way, not saying we won’t be...just saying in general. Injuries killed us. He was one of a few guys that was getting serious minutes at the end that would have been playing single digit minutes if Jones and Davis had still been playing.

Never should have been offered. Other than a heater or two, did very little. 6’ shooting guards are not in high demand at the high D1 level. We were literally about 10 steps above the other offers he was getting. I think he accepted before Shaka got “we” out of his mouth.

I would like to bet money that whoever us hired loses a predistrict game next year to school whose coach also now has multiple state titles...

I’ve always said if he was 6-10, he would have a long, lucrative career in the league. He works so hard, plays so smart, and is so crafty I have no doubt he can make a living playing this game somewhere though.

Bmt United vs Silsbee would be the most intriguing local matchup next season.
