Is this thread still a thing? You guys should all know, like most things in life, the answer lies somewhere in the middle. (I know Reagan, you aren’t a moderate kind of guy ). It takes talent to win championships, but Reagan is also right that the talent isn’t so superior at WOS that they should be the winningest program in the state. That’s where Coach T and his staff comes comes in and they undoubtedly “coach those kids up.” A lot.

Let me help you further, #3 class is better than #9 class. But if you’re looking up from #18, I’m sure anywhere in the top 10 looks good. The good news is you got so few recruits we wanted, that there’s very few that we would Baylor you on.

I know. We are all sad we only have 5 out of the top 5, 6 of the top 7, and 7 of the top 10. We do have to compete with OU and only managed to steal 2 of their QB commits (neither in those mentioned above). My oh my. Whatever will we do with such a lackluster class??? In all fairness, his biggest in state competition is, and always has been the equivalent of a shiny turd. If you can’t win that recruiting battle, you’re pretty much an embecile. I’m excited to see what the on field product will look like next year. It’s a process and hopefully they will continue to improve. They were in games with a chance to win against 2 of the top 8 teams in the country. They need to learn how to finish.
