If you don’t believe how important ONE offensive lineman can be, I present to you Mr. Connor Williams.

He’s been playing the H Back the last two weeks (which is basically a TE in the backfield). Not sure why the move other than he’s a great receiver and picks up blitzes better than any back we have. Gets a false start and immediately makes up for it with a TD snag.

Cowherd solved this puzzle a couple of years ago. You have Saban coaching against a bunch of recycled coaches and/or coordinators masquerading as coaches. (Meanwhile Big 10 has added Meyer, Harbaugh, Franklin, etc.) And you have horrific quarterback play. All that equals one great team and a bunch of “meaty okra” teams (misspelling intentional to help sec fans spell out the big words). Auburn has a shot to unseat Bama this year because unlike most all its conference mates, it has an NFL caliber QB taking snaps this year.

They did play VPrep’s varsity but that wasn’t them against Huntington tonight. Their kids are out until after Thanksgiving. Next game on 30th vs Houston Christian. I was wondering. Forget that fifth place prediction, in Huntington played that team that close they should win that district.

It was brutal. Clearly didn’t get it off but they weren’t concerned since it was a blowout.

I didn’t think so but maybe. Their only loss is to Concordia in a close one. They have a 6-3 or 6-4 PG from Chicago that can go and a 6-8 forward from Senegal that is an absolute beast. High, high D1 If he qualifies.
