  1. Game wasn’t that close. Idk if it was a blowout but wasn’t extremely competitive either
  2. He performed extremelywell this summer against far better talent than he will see in that district. Has insane hops, shoots it well, and has really good vision. Hence the offers (although the academics certainly don’t hurt either). Likes to distribute the ball and plays extremely unselfish. The key for the bulldogs this season will be who else can step up.
  3. Kellen would look a lot better if he could throw to Mike Evans...
  4. Funeral-like atmosphere at Kyle for a night game. Impressive. Should’ve had a “brunch” game.
  5. Daniel Young with a couple of impressive runs, the second for a score. The freshmen RBs have looked good. 38-7 Texas. Less than 2 to go.
  6. Breaking news. We are able to have an explosive running play without holding (or getting caught at least). Carter makes it 31-7
  7. Baylor goes for it on 4th in 2 on its own 28 and throws incomplete. Texas ball.
  8. Holton Hill and Deshon Elliott will be next members of DBU in the league. Book it.
  9. how In the heck do they expect us to get a rushing game going without holding?? Carter TD gets negated by a hold and Kountze’s Grayland “I shoulda gone to Texas” Arnold gets a pick in the end zone on the next play.
  10. Well, managed to sneak an 18 yarder through. 24-7 Horns.
  11. My bad. The ball was tipped. So him not going to ball and then dropping it was indeed Herman’s fault for letting it get tipped. Carry on.
  12. I wonder if Foreman’s dad will tweet that it’s Herman’s fault his son dropped that third down pass? It apparently is that his son has been a notorious loafer in practice, going back to HS.
  13. Averaging 26+ ppg and 440+ ypg coming in. Their defense on the other hand has been awful. But we have a way of making pedestrian defenses look remarkable. But I will confess I haven’t seen a snap of Baylor football before today and would agree they look pretty turrible. Not sure how much of that is them and how much is us but I am guessing a fair amount is them.
  14. Two DBs out now (Hill and Locke) and Baylor immediately capitalizes on a long pass to set up a score. 14-7 UT
  15. And then we move the ball 90 yards in no time like we’re prolific offensively. Boo to Lil’Jordan for the score. 14-0 Horns midway thru second.
  16. Headed there after. Defense looks as good or better than last week. Offense as bad. Need more defensive scores.
  17. C’mon Reb. If you’re going to post these far fetched theories, at least use a reputable source
  18. They have a commit from the number one rated kicker in the country. Dicker the kicker. He can’t get there soon enough.
  19. yeah, that must be it. That wind has been following the Bobcats around for a few years now and always seems to be a headwind...
  20. Turned into a good game. OF, up 6, passes on 2 FGs (with one of the areas best kickers) in 4Q to go for 4th and Long in an offense not exactly conducive to long yardage situations. HF was able to get the ball with a chance to score but the Bobcats held on for the W. The loser of this game would move into the unenviable position of odd man out for the playoffs. The Longhorns will need OF to beat HJ and then beat the Hawks coming off their bye week to get in.
  21. There’s no thinking. You are crazy REB, but in an endearing kind of way
  22. I wasn't sure how it was regarded with you guys, but I knew you would be familiar with it. I know how to buy a WSJ and pretend to understand it...
  23. I had never heard of The Motley Fool but apparently it’s a trader’s website. I would defer to Nash as to it’s usefulness (or lack thereof) with the market. As to all the stuff I posted, I just found it interesting. I’m not qualified to break it down any further than defining words. And only some of them. Heck, I thought GDP was an acronym for something my dad called the Packers. And the kinship is mutual Tiger!
