You will never hear an OU fan say Texas isn’t their rival. You will hear them say it a lot about okie lite. It has always been one of CFB’s greatest rivalries. And for those who can read, Texas leads the series 61 to 45 (I.e., much more competitive than some other so-called “rivalries”). Going to need an upset to get number 62 today. #hookem #ousux

I get your point and Roschon is a special kind of kid. You’re not the first commit in a UT class as a sophomore if they don’t have big plans for you at the next level. But Jones has ALL the tools, just playing catch up on experience. I’ve personally seen him throw a pass 60 yards in the air and run an 11.2 100m....in the 8th grade...

Reminds me of the Glavine/Maddux gems in the 90s. Such supreme control in hitting his spots.

BC is not very good this year. If LCM gets a similar effort, should be a bigger margin of victory than this week. I would be shocked if BC beats Silsbee, even after this game. They have a really good coach but the talent level isn’t close.

It is almost amusing to see fans talk about this kid can’t do this, can’t do that. Meanwhile apparently Chad Morris (and Kliff Kingsbury, by the way) disagree. Maybe it’s just me but I will take those guys’ assessment over the random HS fan with regard to football in general, and the QB position specifically.

The answer to your question is probably a firm No.

He’s a great kid who has gotten a lot of criticism this year by PAM “fans.” Fact of the matter is he should have been taking the snaps for the Titans since his sophomore year but contributed elsewhere, still losing valuable experience at his true position. Hate it for him too. Great game for the Indians. Like to see a team with no quit in them.

What about Scott Frost? I thought Turner Gill would have a shot at one point but he’s a guy that took some really bad jobs and his coaching rep has suffered from it IMO.

But I would tend to bet the farm on Kluber vs CC. Can’t imagine Kluber getting roughed up twice in a row and CC was past his prime way before this season.

Looks like Yankees were one blown 5 run lead away from giving Stros home field advantage in ALCS. Hard to believe given their bullpen that they choked that up. Then again, who knows what can happen in the decisive game 5.
