  1. Very true. And I agree. Even without the football guys, I think the Tigers are double digits better imo.
  2. Exactly. The best games are really the 3 that start at 3:30 imo. Problem with waiting to get there then is there probably won't be any seats. Silsbee's game sounds good and intriguing. However, my guess is won't be but I suppose you never know.
  3. Smith is gone as well. He's attending La Lumiere. Cameron Cohn would be the best returning player.
  4. I agree. Which is why UT-USC will blow that who gives a crap game's ratings away. And that's a fact
  5. Agree with you assessment on all 3 of those. She was "okay," others were terrible. As for the "face for tv," do I need to start a thread showing some of the guys doing broadcasts? Besides, if you aren't an Erin Andrews eye candy reporter, your prime demographic doesn't care how the announcers look. These ones that make our ears bleed are a different story.
  6. He was almost as bad as the boom goes the dynamite guy. AAW needs to send in his resumé.
  7. A friend of mine sent me a picture of the Kingwood high school students changing classes at Summer Creek today. Absolutely shoulder to shoulder wall to wall. Both schools are going half days, with KHS in the afternoons until 6. Below is a video of Kingwood beginning their first day on the SCHS campus.
  8. Here you go Reb. See, we are combining sports with other topics here And side note, no one, and I mean no one gives better pressers than Mike Leach. I love that guy.
  9. Revisionist history at it's best: [Hidden Content] Well, other than claiming national championships 100 years after they allegedly happened I guess...
  10. Also, look out for Dayton. That big lefty pitcher Orebo can also really hoop. He might be the best player in that district this year.
  11. Is New Caney really that down?
  12. The current state of the Aggie football fan: [Hidden Content] also, peep the bleachers. Was told by a season ticket holder that if there were "over 100,000 in attendance," he would kiss my nether regions. So I certainly hope there weren't...
  13. Kind of my thoughts. Quick will be able to do what he wants again inside and dominate the glass, but could also get in foul trouble again if Silsbee attacks the rim. But I just can't see a team without SUPERIOR guard play being able to hang with the Tigers. If you have really good guards and a true inside presence, Silsbee is vulnerable. But I'm unaware of any such teams at the 4a level. Yates is probably the closest thing with Mitch (and Hughes at guard). But depth will again be an issue. That's everyone's problem against Silsbee though.
  14. Agreed. I wouldn't think Wise or Sigler either one would want that game. Bport should be good this year, but lost their heart and soul with Chris Rossow's graduation. They will still have the best "big" on the floor when they play, but I can't imagine this game being remotely close.
  15. I don't know about any of that! Lol. But as Ron White would say, we can always lose weight but ya can't fix stupid :/
  16. Been there, done that. Remember Simms/Applewhite? I would think especially with QBs, if you have to promise a starting job to get them, let them go elsewhere. Just my personal opinion.
  17. Nor smart. Fumble returned for TD and bye bye job. But I'm assuming it's not if but when now anyway. So back to the class issue I guess.
  18. No doubt. I was overall impressed when he stepped in last year. And it's not really close right now between him and the young guys. That's why I was wondering if there was something off field I was unaware of.
  19. CLEARLY not playing with a full deck.
  20. Does anyone know why Hubenak has not played until they were in trouble tonight? Is there something going on off field?? Makes no sense.
  21. I would. One of those nothing to lose situations imo.
  22. More maturity from W.T. Cletus. Give it a rest and go brush that tooth of yours
