  1. Talking heads were right. Bama defense was a bit overhyped due to the garbo offenses ans QBs in SEC...
  2. Oh Lawd. Are they really rocking Conway Twitty in the 'Dale?
  3. I hope you're right because I would like to see Dabo win one. But Bama has one of the best, if not THE best, college defenses I've seen. I wouldn't bet against them.
  4. Maryland and Okie State for sure. May go see the K St game as well.
  5. Big win for the Jags. That was the marquee matchup in this district tonight. This district is going to be an absolute dogfight this year. At least with the top 3 teams (or 4 if Nederland can get it together).
  6. As Bandwagon Ranger explained to you, there is a difference between a team playing freshman and sophomores and a team playing freshmen and sophomores who are all first rounders, with a few lottery picks. There are only 30 first round picks. When 25-33% of those play for Kentucky and Duke (and add some euros in there), you do the math on the other 345 D1 teams. So when you say Kentucky wins with freshman so don't use the "young" excuse, you are really saying you don't understand the game. And in their case, it's not Cal coaching them up. He wins games in recruiting. Coach K is a different story. Not saying Cal isn't a good coach because he is. But he's never been an upper-echelon Xs and Os guy. And by the way, it's never a good sign for your team when Cal's son makes the box score...
  7. True. Like I said, not the worst I've seen. Foul is probably the correct call there.
  8. here is the goaltending call. Not the best video but if you can slow it down with pause button, you can get a look at it. Pretty bad call imo. Kid got glassed, you don't call GT there. It was simultaneous at best for Silsbee which is a clean block. But I've unfortunately seen worse lately at end of games.
  9. Sam finished with 25 by the way. The dynamic duo combine for 63 of the Sharks 70 points.
  10. Whew! Tigers have certainly played some nail biters. Props to The Woodlands by the way for taking the road game in Silsbee. Not a lot of 6As would do that.
  11. Yes. Different team with him on the floor. Solid ball handler, rebounder, and does everything pretty well. Also held Kress to 5 pts in the second half. I will also say that Sam absolutely has the basketball player body.
  12. Agreed. He has every ability to be special on that end as well though. Athleticism for days. He shoots the 3 ball pretty well but I was most impressed with that pull up midrange jumper. Seen him play a few times in the past week now and he shoots it about as well as I've seen. And it's virtually impossible to defend with his elevation and release.
  13. Jamyus Jones with 38 pts for SP. I can lodge my vote in the debate. That kid can play college ball somewhere. Has every shot, good handles, and superior quickness and hops.
  14. Caleb Kress 24p, 9r Payton Lathrop 23p, 4r Alex Catt 8p, 9r, 5a
  15. Some of these heights are a bit off (or quite a bit in some instances). No. 2 prospect on the list is listed at 6'1" and the No. 28 at 6'4". Have seen them both over the holidays and Jones is AT LEAST 2 inches taller than Torres (probably 3 or more). Neither is 6'4" but I would say Jones is closer to 6'3".
