You know, I agree with you. If both Clemson and UW both lose, I don't know how you don't put in both the Big 10 champ and Michigan (along with tOSU). And that WOULD be a great way toward getting it to 8.

Wagner is very, very good. Whether they are overrated - I don't think they are the best team in the state (or even that region) but they are undoubtedly ONE of the best 6A teams in the state. They have an elite big man and an elite PG. So to me, yes Silsbee is THAT good.

Can we all just agree that WOS gets the most bang for their buck? The best coach in this area (IMO - can't imagine he's not in everyone's top 5) is the 16th highest paid coach. But he would be the first to tell you, money isn't everything and home is where the heart is...

I don't have a problem with it because they were invited. Many high schools, if not most, have kids who reclassified at some point. The whole goal should be to get your kids better so I would want to play really good teams (I know you share that opinion and couldn't care less about meaningless tournament trophies). But I know some folks do care and I also would have no issue with a school that didn't extend an invite to such a team. But to complain about a team that was invited in a preseason tournament (bc of reclassifieds) is a little silly but not surprising.

It can be humorous at times but I tend to agree with you. There are way too many pretentious a_holes for my taste who know less than they think they do (omg I just described myself according to Mack)?!?! Actually, on the rare occasions I visit other boards, I think TexAgs is one of the better one. There a lot of delusionals there (as with most boards) but many really good posters as well, especially on the hoops board. There aren't many Aggies who are hoops oriented but a lot of the ones who are really know their stuff. And I've always liked Looch. He's a nice guy who's good at what he does and puts out a good product most of the time. Okay, enough with the guilt-ridden admissions for one day... Aggy sucks!!!!
