Joe Schad over here. Everyone has known it's not if but when. The only question is which conference Texas leads OU to. My money is on the Big 10, unless it happens when the 4 power conferences become a reality. Then it's whether Notre Dame decides to move to the Big 10 and Texas wants to join them or go to a conference that will take both them and the Sooners. Not sure the Domers would stick to the ACC for all sports.

By the way, DWI 1st is a class B misdemeanor in this state, that is virtually always a probation case for a kid in Kent's position. Other than law enforcement, it will usually not cost you your job or license. A one or two game suspension would seem appropriate to me, if he's found guilty. Especially with "victimless" crimes, I have a problem with the presumption of innocence being cast aside in punishing kids who might ultimately be found not guilty.
