I thought Ozen would be down last year. Looks like their rolling whoever is in front of them today. I was told by a wise sage last year that Ozen doesn't rebuild, they reload. I think he's right. But I would definitely have Silsbee as the top team in the Triangle.

100 percent correct. And going into LCM game, the starter was 3 of 9 on the season and the backup 2 of 9 through the air. They just aren't equipped to be a big threat through the air. But I do get the point and agree that Kress could be very effective with read option.

You're funny serious question though: Silsbee HAS struggled defensively the first two games this year and several last. But limiting Jasper to 19 pts was pretty impressive. Were they much improved or other reasons in your opinion?

This makes more sense. I was told by someone else that this was the absolute worst officiated football game he had ever seen. Definitely explains why it was closer than most expected.

Exactly. To be determined for sure. Just saying there are no dominant teams in that district this year. Based on personnel and coaching, they should be competing for the district title IMO. We will see if they can pull it together.

Newton's gonna Newton. They haven't enjoyed all their success by accident. The crazy thing is, if the Cards can get their act together, they have a legitimate shot to be right there for the district title. With Navasota being a hot mess, that district has no power houses in it and BC should be in the conversation.
