Good post above by the way. I don't disagree with much of it.

[Hidden Content] Despite protests to the contrary, you will never convince me that a LOT of the hate in this country towards the President has a LOT to do with his skin color. Fortunately, it's at least a minority of folks who are stuck in their sad, little minds.

So I take it julep sales were down?

Best AREA HS player to NOT reach his potential

Tito Horford. He ended up at the U and played a few years in the league (Milwaukee and somewhere else). His son Al has enjoyed much more success in college at Florida and now in the league with the Hawks. -

Kelly is the academic standard in SETX. If you don't think so, you either don't know or are in denial. Having said that, HJ is one of the top public districts in the area. And the transfer that has been consuming this board for several weeks now has nothing to do with academics, regardless of which school becomes the destination. As far as BISD, I can only say I know of multiple students who have transferred in this past year or so and without exception, every single one experience a drastic improvement in grades, while at the same time telling me how easy it was. At the same time, I am sure there are paths you can take at all 3 schools that will challenge you as much as you are willing to be challenged. -
The last century ended with 20 years of above average to excellent presidents in my opinion. Apparently, the first 20 years of this one are supposed to even that run out...

Hey remember when those goofy little fellas used to hash tag everything #WRTS? I do

Hey remember when the Aggies joined the $EC and had that short blip in recruiting and all those gomers thought it was going to last? Laughing and chanting 3 Star Char? I do...

Move to new conference creates a buzz and Ags see a temporary spike in recruiting. Shine wears off and they are unable to keep from being outrecruited by a 5-7 team/coach. Wheels come off. Time for Plan C.

[Hidden Content] one of us is, one of us isn't. But keep chasing little brother. Or just go open admission like Az St. Either way.

Texas was bound geographically to this one. When it opens up, you can bet TEXAS will factor academics in. You guys wouldn't understand since you aren't among the elite...

Moorehead should have a lifetime position at TAMU. Of all the aggy things I've ever seen, his implosion might be the aggiest...

They will end up in the Big 10 or the PAC 10. You would never see a public Ivy whoring itself in a glorified juco conference (academically) like the SEC.

To be fair, you were more than 2 days ahead of any of the media outlets!

Indeed. Best of luck to the kid. What a great opportunity.

May be the wisest thing you have said on this board - then again, you are quoting Coach Boutte In all seriousness, I would expect WB to make a trip to SA within 5 years. It won't be recruiting. He won't have to. To alter a quote from a great movie, "If you hire him, they will come. Oh yes, they sure will come." To pair that with a Hall of Fame coach, the results will happen on the court.

Correct.

I think he is but hasn't found a MLB to allow him to do that. Dalton had trouble staying healthy and struggled when he was. Cecil Cherry leaving left a void as well. And despite poaching players from all over the state and elsewhere with this incoming class, he whiffed on the two MLB prospects.

His dad is an old friend of mine. I haven't gotten the scoop yet since it was just announced. But I would bet he was told Malik is staying in the middle. In any case, hope he finds the right spot for him and has a very successful senior season.

By the way, being a preferred walk on at a traditional powerhouse like UNLV is an accomplishment in itself, not a slam by any means.
