One of the amazing things about the Pirate is how he could consistently pull upsets of your school (as several schools can attest) and yet you still had to love him. His wit, his irreverence, and his willingness to discuss almost ANY topic made him a rare commodity in CFB and even sports in general. When we lose one that is TRULY one of a kind, you know you've really lost something.

Not sure what’s going on with that but it was his account. Has since been taken down.

Thought this woman was his fiance and not his wife?
You are correct. They are “engaged” and not married. I would be willing to bet that it’s not his dental records that match that bite mark on her arm.

I thought about copying and pasting (because I’m too dumb to be able to post a screen shot on here) but I think that’s against the rules. But @BlueOwl did a good job of summarizing the post succinctly.

In all fairness, who could have predicted this??
(and because it’s THIS board, I feel compelled to note the heavy sarcasm intended above. Although I’m quite certain the OP would have known this, not sure all would!)

Well, I will reserve judgement on the new coach until we can see what he does, however, not reaching out to an "open door" to the most successful coach in college football is ludicrous and I simply cannot understand that
Kind of where I fall. I hope this guy is a home run hire. I also hope Damon got some bad information because that’s hard to fathom otherwise.

The “impeding breath” element makes that a felony by the way. Serious stuff.
I will say that based upon what I know from back when he was in Lubbock, no scenario will surprise me here. That is to say, his wife is known to be coo coo but that could mean any number of things here.

Just heard he’s gone. 🥲. RIP. This one hurts.

Say it ain’t so 🥲

Have y’all seen Damon West’s post on Facebook about an Alabama assistant?
I did now. Pretty shocking to say the least.

Are you saying there may be a correlation that Lamar shoots it better against NAIA schools?

Booker T is the new flavor of the month. Eventually it will swing back to JY. Maybe after next season.

Who knows. One thought for lifestyle. Football, football, football and more football from August to January. What free time you have as a college head coach would be a few winter months and spring then early summer in Boulder. That may be hard to beat.
Just a small thing in the overall picture, but has to be appealing.
It’s official. Coach Prime to the Buffs.

How about just for this year we just have Georgia and Michigan play for the natty? They are clearly the two best teams.
That’s not a bad solution. And I agree that is clearly the case.

I still go back to what they have always said the playoffs were supposed to be about. I still think , jmo, that Georgia, Alabama, michigan and either tcu or osu are the four best teams right now.
We are all entitled to our opinions. But you talk about TCU losing to a 3 loss K St team when Bama lost to a 4 loss LSU team. You point out K St lost to Tulane which makes me wonder how much football you’ve watched since Tulane is a top 20 team likely to get in a NY bowl game. Conversely, Bama lost to a 4 loss LSU team that just lost to a really bad A&M game (who will not even make a toilet bowl). So unless you are going for the name and history, Bama shouldn’t even be in this conversation. Hell put in Tennessee - same record and they beat the Tide head to head.

As of now, 3 & 4 lost championship games! TCU just lost to a 3 loss KSU team(including Tulane). Practically a home game for TCU.
Ohio state blown out by Michigan at Home! OSU beat 1 current top 20 team(penn St). ND is 21
Alabama Lost two road games by 3 and 1 point on the very last play of each game. Tennessee #7 by 3, LSU #14 by 1 Beat #20 Texas, #24 miss st
If it is about getting the best 4, I think Bama has to be there.
Why would Bama have to be there when they also lost to a 3 loss team and it’s best win is #21 Texas? Same Texas team that TCU beat more convincingly in the same locale, but against the starting QB. TCU also holds a win over a top 10 team. Ohio St has a win over the #8 team and the #19 team. Tennessee has 2 losses like bama and beat them head to head. Bama isn’t close to belonging in the playoff.

4A #3 Silsbee Vs 5A #9 Lufkin

Fair enough and as you should! Wish I could see this one. I believe you were correct when you said it would be a close game. I voted Lufkin based on recent results but pulling for a Tiger upset.
