  1. As AAW said going into this game, if Silsbee plays like they are capable, they will win. One possession at a time, one game at a time.
  2. Sanford and Son marathon on TVLand??
  3. All about tempo and defense. Ozen dictates the pace and doesn't give up a lot of open looks from outside, they will be fine. This game is going to be won by the team with the best guard play.
  4. It was. John Tyler and Plano East.
  5. [Hidden Content] A HS game for the ages. To those who hate Bleacher Report as much as I do, this one is NOT a slideshow.
  6. If Young doesn't play, it's a blow out.
  7. I've said several times in the last couple of weeks that Ozen has improved steadily and dramatically from the first of the year. And unlike you, I don't keep chasing my tail. We are all wrong at times. Some just aren't "big" enough to admit it. And here's one last thing for your "lols" and "lmaoooooos": "If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet." Proverbs 29:9 Lot of wisdom in that Book....
  8. Looking forward to it. And for the record, I hope Ozen wins. Really do. And I think they will. Unlike when you were going to "talk to me" after the Ozen-Central game at the Montagne...
  9. Never said that. Said height and athleticism are a big part of basketball. But see, you just make stuff up and don't actually have quotes cause you are constantly being abused with your childlike arguments and logic. Or maybe you just have trouble reading. You might need to get hooked on phonics...
  10. Trying to help you out. The first quote is where this argument about same skill set but taller began. Don't feel bad, no one else can keep up with your ill conceived, circular logic either...
  11. Sorry one last thing. You said "exact same skill set." Do Curry and Westbrook have the exact same skill set? (Insert OF's "lmaooooo"). Insert OF's "I'll wait" and "dummy". Ok. I'm really done now.
  12. They aren't in the same league. One will be in the league, and one will, well not. Hope that helps. Again, for the record, the "Lmaooooo" doesn't make you look smart...but it does make you look like a prepubescent chick. Okay, I'm seriously done. I feel like a bully beating up on the feeble minded. Not very Christian at all. Have a good night my man. I'm sure it will be "blissful."
  13. No one uses the term "light years" on here except you (and those quoting you), albeit you inject it into your posts repeatedly. You remind me of a dude studying an old dictionary and throws a new word he learns into any conversation repeatedly... As for your completely illogical argument, yes, if two players are basically equal (you say "exact same skill set") and one has more height, the one with more height is going to get offered first, drafted, etc. Add the taller player having more athleticism topples the scale over. Welcome to Basketball 101. I don't know that I've ever had to explain such rudimentary concepts to an adult who claims to watch so much basketball.
  14. And what facts are you so proud of when arguing Yates is terrible? That they got dominated by one of the best players in this class (as Ozen did when by one of the top players in next year's class against an average at best team)? Or that they lost to a top 5 team in the country? Yeah, you are a regular Johnnie Cochran. (Rest in peace one of the best litigators of all time. That was facetious brother.)
  15. I don't think I'm old and stupid but I don't end my posts like a 12 yr old girl either As for Fox just being taller and more athletic, let me help you out kiddo. Height and athleticism (speed, quickness, vertical, etc.) all help in playing basketball. Big parts of the game. Hth. And Fox averages over 32 a game and is one of the 5 finalists for the Naismith award (granted, it's not a Willie Ray Smith finalist but still pretty prestigious). Point is, the kid can put it in the hole. As far as making dumb comments and predictions, I may have to defer to you. Because if we took a poll on which poster on this site best fits those attributes, I have no doubt you would win going away. So in that respect, you kinda are the resident expert on THAT subject...
  16. Wow. How bad is the coach if they only managed one nailbiting win in 3 attempts against a team which they were "light years" better? If you actually watched basketball, you'd know why your argument is "stupid" and "outlandish." Or if you actually knew how to craft an argument. It's really unnecessary to respond to these posts because you do such a good job of making a mockery of your own arguments As for Fox, you admitted you had never seen him earlier this season and then went and saw one game. Over the past 2 years, I have seen him play probably 20 times or more. If you actually watched games other than on YouTube and the bubble gum circuit, you would know how good he is. But I know, I know. When he is starring for Kentucky next year and someone else is just getting minutes in your old conference, it's because all these coaches are hung up on rankings and such. And when he is a first rounder and others aren't, it will be just because those dumb GMs are hung up on mock drafts, rankings and such. And in case you are looking for more "facts," in the time I've wasted typing this response, I've forgotten more basketball than you've ever known.

  18. I'm with you and Shovel. I'm more libertarian on most of the issues. No party is perfect for any person, but it's probably the closest for me. Would be interesting to see what a candidate like a Bloomberg could do on a libertarian ticket. Like Shovel says though, it's tough to throw away a vote. Although I basically did that yesterday and still voted my conscience anyway.
  19. Oh, I am soooo with you. Although I will say Morgan has a chance to redeem himself with me in this upcoming battle with Negan's crew. If he doesn't, I am done with him for good.
  20. See what I mean, SportsJunkie32? Don't attribute the delusional ramblings of one clown to the entire site...
  21. While you are laughing deliriously, remind me what the outcomes were of the 3 Ozen/Central games, sport? I seem to have forgotten. I may have missed one out of three but your wrong more often than a broken clock. And I'm quite sure I watch wayyyy more basketball than you, albeit it is at a much higher level in the summers. That may explain your rudimentary ability to differentiate different players/teams. And I have no doubt if DeAaron played at Ozen or for a certain local summer team, he would be the second coming of Steph Curry in your deluded eyes....
  22. Paul Finebaum is killing a Bama Trump supporter on the air right now.
  23. Elkins beats Yates but has their hands full. Yates has one of the best shooters and scorers in the area. I'm with Mamba - could be a game where each goes for 90. This also plays to Ozen's advantage. Dove has assured me fresh-er legs are vital this time of year.
  24. Most of the statements that will "WOW" you are made by one "challenged" individual. He has told us that Atascocita isn't that good, had to go see DeAaron to see if he was actually any good, etc. etc. All I can say is that individual is truly a legend in his own mind...
  25. By the way, let's not forget to congratulate San Augustine on a fantastic season. They faced some adversity and ended up losing to one of the best teams I've ever seen in this classification. I thought going in these might be the two best teams in this region. The Wolves should be proud of a job well done this year.
