Sutherland’s numbers are just mind boggling. At the 100 year anniversary of the UiL, he had been coaching 29 years and had 819 wins (over 900 now). Sig had been coaching 24 years with 513 wins.
The great Jackie Carr had 828 wins in 26 seasons. Point is Todd isn’t just a hall of fame coach. He will go down as one of the GOATs.

How many did coach Gamble and Coach Fred Williams have?
Gamble 670
Uil has Williams with 357 but I saw something else with 411. So somewhere in there I would guess.

Rice didn’t have near enough touches in 2h. Should have played Morris in 2h when Carr got banged up. Oh well. Glad I don’t have tickets to this Final 4.
But Go Aztecs and Jae LeDee

So much for the ncaa rigging it for Texas to be there.

The toe part of his shoe was over the line. Anyway the call should have been jump ball and it still would have been SD ball on possession IMO
On not over. That was the only thing they got right at the end.

When the kid threw the ball in he was standing on the line
You can be on the line. That’s out of bounds. Can’t be over it.

UConn looks to be the class of the tournament to me.

Politics is what UT does best when it comes to making big decisions. I agree that they should absolutely give Terry a long term contract though.
I don’t know about long term. Given his history and the debacle with Adams at Tech, I would give him a 2 year $5.5 to 6m deal with the understanding if he keeps it rolling, the next one will be $30m for 6

Everyone relax. RT is getting the job.

With how bipolar Arkansas was this season making it to the Sweet 16 for the 3rd season in a row is a damn good run. 💪🏾
Yeah Musselman stock was like Tesla this year.

And as far as Kountze and Silsbee playing again… highly doubt that happens anytime soon… the talent gap is a pretty decent margin between the two programs.
True. But I remember when those games were always highly anticipated, almost to the extent of HJ/Silsbee. As stated before, as much as I mess with you Lions, I really hope to see a continued rise for Kountze basketball. Historically, has to be top-5ish in SETX. Much like football not being as good when WOS is irrelevant, and for with Kountze and hoops. -

lol he used to be the #1 Kountze hater 😂
I know YOU are joking but it always cracked me up when people said that. I always got the impression he was a fan of the Lions and their program. And a fellow Hardin County school with his Tigers.

Kayde Dotson?
No. 6A is so tough. So many dudes at that level. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mr. Dotson make the list next year.

I believe you are probably correct 😂 Let an old man have his fun!
And someone had to replace AAW 😉 . He’s way too soft on the Lions these days!

I have just about given up on basketball. They don’t enforce the two most basic rules of the game……double dribbling and traveling. Used to be you tried not to foul. Now intentional fouling is an integral part of the game. Why not get 4 points for a half court shot? Oh well. Yes, I still enjoy March Madness. It’s just that the game has evolved to a point where I wonder why they don’t just wear pads and play it like football.
Since the 3-point shot can be the game decider, everyone should worry about Princeton. These guys are for real and played, what I consider, a real clean game.
Get back in! I love this team. And Jabari Rice is as good a kid as I’ve ever been around. I have loved every second of his ride this season. He had a lot of people second guessing his decision to go to UT. Whatever happens from here, I think it’s safe to say he chose wisely.

I saw where coach Green just crossed the 700 win mark recently. How many wins does the following coaches have?
Sigler
Bouttet
English
Southerland
Joubert
Sutherland in the national nosebleed numbers with over 900. I don’t think most understand how crazy a number that is.

I was thinking they should have been a 4 or 5.
Had the further misfortune of being matched against one of the best 10 seeds you will ever see. Penn St playing great basketball at the end of the season.
The committee was playing shenanigans with some of these regions though I am convinced they threw Duke and Kentucky in with the weakest 1-4 seeds to maybe get another blue blood to Houston And I am convinced they put UofH, UT and A&M in the same region to try and ensure you get a Texas team in the final 4

Ags get screwed again by the committee. Sets up a 2nd round matchup with Texas if they can both win
Just win some games and prove them wrong! Oh wait…

I was so thankful I didn’t buy tickets before Sunday’s games. I can’t imagine how far they dropped when Texas lost.
